Title: Topic of fear.

Since I kinda side tracked Ace's topic (sorry, buddy), I'm creating a thread for it. I only have 1 (yes, one) fear. My fear is fear itself. Yeah I heard it somewhere, but I forgot who said it.

What really scares me, is that my girlfriend will stop caring. She's the only who understands me, and if lose her, I lose everything. However, my greatest fear is to awaken one day and realize that I have wasted my life.

my fears.. well besides heights and spinning around really fast, I am afraid of losing friends, in any way there is possbile; From death to they forget about you. Is something that pains me, and since it pains with such emotional potential, I am afraid of it. Also because I might never see/know about that person again.

Yeah, my fear is too that I'll lose the people I care about, like my friends, which I had to do 1 month ago, and it hurts like hell. On top of that there's also claustraphobia and my irrational fear of chibi's.

Waking up one day and realize that my whole life had been nothing but a dream. Or forgetting all of my merories.
Or that everyone suddenly just leaves my side and makes me have no one left, not even my family.

Many of my other fears has already happened and therefore I am not afraid of them anymore.

ugh, random stuff, nothing major really, and i normaly face my fears, i spos wakeing up and resiling my life was a dream would be bad, i would have to live my life AGAIN, now that would be upsetting, i think...dieing alone, without anyone or anything, im scared that that might happen....it might not, but it might....ugh, im makeing no cence now am i?

I've learned two things in life about people:

1) everyone thinks that they are so complex and completely different then everyone else.
2) everyone is more or less the same, with a few really deranged psychos. Odds are that you aren't one of the exceptions.


As for me, I've started running out of fears. I used to be deadly afraid of spiders, but now I'm just angry at them and hurl the largest object I can find at them at breakneck speeds. Not many things outright scare me, but a lot worry me, such as class grades and the though of Bush in the oval office.

Hmmm... I AM afraid of death, because I see myself as living forever, and so I often get really annoyed at the fact that I'm going to die eventually. I'm also afraid... of worms. No-one laugh. They're damn scary. I got half a slowworm chucked at me once and I imbarrased myself by being reduced to tears. My little brother used to bake worms in the sun, on plates. I'd come outside and find crispy worms.

I'm also afraid of height, airplanes,  big spiders(I don't care about the small ones), losing friends, and fear in itself.

And of course, I am afraid of losing friends in an airplane crash, while I survive and notice I'm immortal, and find out the airplane crashed because of one big spider that scared the pilot.

LOLOLOL...Dude, I don´t really care about friends, if it minds you. Cuz, friends can anytime stab you in the back! Just let a girl be between you, for example. Or even if they lend you money, for a absolute incapacity of paying of yours, they may never look at your face again. Friends can even burst into school and shoot everyone for no apparent reason! All you can really trust in the world is family. Not even your kids and your wife. She may betray you; they might arrange sumthin to kill you and get your....stuff (forgot the name of the thing that your kids get when you die...inhreirestuffance, something like that.). So friends? Meh.

I fear deception most of all. General Deception. I'm paranoid about most things, and the thought of something fooling me into thinking it was something else is the worst thing I can think of.

Erm...may I ask what´s this fear of relationship´s all about? I´ve been with the same g/f for 5 years (aka almost married hahaha) and it was pretty simple since the beggining (except cuz I know her since I was 5 and we studied in the same school)...It really gets me curious what you guys are afraid about!

Airplanes. I will NEVER ride in an airplane. Ever. If I ever become put into a situation where I need to ride an airplane, then screw it, I'm not doing it.  :| I've seen airplanes take off before, and geez! The beginning is probably WAY TOO FAST for me to handle. And the actual speed of the airplane is fast too.  :x And, I now that usually nothing goes wrong in an airplane, but if something does, then I'm dead. At least in a car crash, I can probably walk away limping.

I fear a lot of things, but I do have a lot of solid fears that have prolyl already been mentioned.

For one, i fear waking up one day old, and realizing you never accomplished your goals and dreams, or waking up one day old and alone. That's just not a pleasent thought.

For second, I fear deception also. but i'ts not so much i fear it, but anyone who lies or cheats or deceives me, i well outright hate to the bitter.

For thirds, I fear going through life and having it add up to nothing, jsut another blink forgotten in the universe.

Of course i fear little things too, like spiders, and bees. but i think EVERONE has a small phobia of those :) .

EDIT: Oh, i also fear mirrors in the dark. If their is a mirror, i HAVE to turn a light on before i can pass it. It's jsut creepy!!!

I fear that I have no purpose... I work a oring job for average pay, I get drunk at the weekends :P and that's about it. I live for going to concerts, other than that I feel like I have no real direction or justification for my existence. There must be more to life..

Spiders are pretty creepy creatures. I was exposed to them quite alot during early childhood (Especially the big hairy ones, actually), and as a result, I don't fear them at all.
But you can understand why, right? Hairy 8-legged little monsters, crawling slowly, so slowly up your leg, caressing your skin with their straw-like legs, making you too afraid to even sweat for risk of disturbing them.

For some reason, the world's never been the same since Aracnaphobia. I personally love spiders. Yellow jackets are what get me, I've been stung  by 11 yellow jackets at once. Kinda traumatized me, bees=BAD.

Like today, I was going through this metal bin, getting stuff out, where I see this unusual little sphere. Methinks "tis probably a spider's eggsac" so I get this piece of metal, I try removing it, which showed it was obviously squishy. looking past that I saw there was a redback spider there - probably the size of a 10c piece, but nonetheless, poisonous little bastard.



it ended up dead - but not by my hands.

I saw that fear on the telly once. There was this woman that yelled that she was gonna die everytime she saw a bird. And she would walk miles around it just to be far away from it.
There was also this one guy, who was afraid of opening cans.
