ok, I got the zsnes emulator 2day, and I have no idea how 2make it work....

I'm trying 2 play tales of phantasia on it, but it wont let me :(
It just comes up a few words at the bottom of the screen then goes black.

I've tried everything!!!
i know it's probably cos' of me living in Europe, but can someone guide me...

PS: I tried clicking on the box that syas PAL

Your ROM is probably corrupt. Have you tried other games?

I havent tried other games, but i have tried plenty of ROMS,
has anyone got one that might work X(

Mine works fine. Also, it's weird, it says all my roms are corrupt but all of them work.

Yeah, then it could be version. I don't know a lot about troubleshooting in emulation, so I can't help you. Sorry.

Sometimes, you have to change the "save type" under the toolbar thingy for ROMs to work. (At least for the GBA emu). Try that, if it has it. I wouldnt know, I dont have a zsnes or whatever emu.

Download Snes9x. I have it, and it's never failed me yet. ;)

The only bug I've noticed is when I play SD3, and a message/speech box appears, the screen gets really wide and everything pixelizes to hell.

on snes9x you can use the display settings and change it so it won't look so bad.

i liked using roms and emulators at school when i couldn't get past the blocks on the internet.

i mostly played MAME though

Leon : i used to go to romnation.net, but they're only good for snes, nes, sega MAME, and reg-gameboy i think

Everytime I open a ROM it says its corrput ,then the window goes brownish then black  :yell:

I prefer using the latest version of www.zsnes.com
Download it and just run em, i have never EVER had problems with emulators. Only with hacked roms.
