Title: Forces

Forces is the new game and I'm using alot of ripped stuff so don't get mad. It's story is about an young soldier named Angelus who ends up getting draged into a revolt led by a girl he saves by the name of Iris. On their way they gain many allies inculding a zombie named Lithi. This team of rag-tag heroes is brought into a world where talk is worthless, money is the key to power, and a little fear controls the common people. But the rumors of the rebelion is strong and the greatest heroes might just be the ones who are the leaders of this world...

Forces has a few custom things such as:

-A new spell system unlike anything seen before! It is going to be CBS only for this and use the normal menu for everything else (I got lazy, and I hate coding). Anyways this will still alow spell fusion and outside of battle spell casting for puzzles...(GS/GS:TLA anyone?)

-Intracite dungeon design with features such as, mazes full of traps that can be near leathal if not wary, the long way is the right way, and no push button dummy puzzles.

-Sleep only cures mp...

-Medics restore hp and death for a cost...

-Finally I coded the DBS so even that I'm using the basic one you will still have cool stuff such as summon spirits(maybe) at SP techs usable at a certen point...

As for the day night system, monsters being twice as hard and apear more than daytime might fustrate people and enoy them.

Angelus

Special: Coup De Grace
Element of Choice: None
Aditude: Dark and quiet but at the same time light-hearted.
History: Awal soldier of the empire Angelus was found by Iris when he was escaping the empire at the same time Iris and her "terrorists" were charging straight into the empire for a full out attack! After a little Angelus joined Iris and rushed into the empire with her...


Iris
Age: 21
Class: Swordswoman
Special: Fem Fatal
Element of Choice: Earth
Aditude: Kind and forgiving yet also quick to decide on things.
History: Iris is the current leader of the "Purple Swallows" gang she is a master fighter and is known to be a little hard on her gang members. She became the leader after the previous leader (her father) died in combat.


Lithi
Age: Unknown
Class: Zombie
Special: Death's Gale
Element of Choice: Shadow
Aditude: Speaks oddly and tends to be a little stupid at points typically uses himself in third person...
History: Lithi was once a great knight of the empire, he now is a lowly undead who fights for a "living" and who is known to be one of the few "kind" monsters...


Eako
Age: 19
Class: Archer
Special: Alchemical Arrow
Element of Choice: Lightning
Aditude: Umm...lets see...*think Colette from ToS cuase I have no idea how to put it that way...or just super kind typcal ditz*
History: Eako is a outcast from elven kind due to the fact that she took up alchemy after seeing her comrades death in combat due to faulty crystals blowing up wlist she was casting "Heal" on her allies...


Dathle
Age: 31
Class: Pirate/Summoner (ONLY DUAL CLASS SO DEAL!!!)
Special: Azul
Element of Choice: Water
Aditude: Quiet and dark Dathle makes up for his allies' cheeryness
History: Dathle is a pirate after his captains treasure not much else to say...


Joan
Class: Spearwoman
Special: Crann Buidhe
Element of Choice:
Aditude: Rash and rude she is both full of surprises and worth while jokes.
History: Joan is know to be odd for a M*********e. Constantly escaping she isn't the strongest of the six but she is mystorous and as for her real past...*SPIOLIERS!!!*

Those look like Fire Emblem characters. It might be just my brain being scrambled from getting 4 hours of sleep though...

I think thier edited from fire emblem chars, am I right? And I think that the monsters stronger at night is a good idea, but don't make them too hard. And that does eem a bit over E-rated, bit then again, not many homemade RPGs are, just dont make them  "Oh s**t I banged into a wall, holy ****!!!" swearing.

rune, larry you're both right they are from Fire Eleblem 7 and all but Iris and Felix are in thier orginal form currently I'm open to recolor ideas though

Day/night systems are usually just annoying. Apart from that it looks decent.

it didn't come out right and thats just a concept I need a better knight monster...

Edit: oh I droped the CBS but I am going to code the DBS so it will be nice anyways.

Well I droped the CBS due to lack of sprites. ANd why is a Day/Night system so annoying I think its useful...(And the battles do change with the time of day, or at least the shading [Example: I'll shade over the background with an orange for evening, a blue for night, and nothing for day.) :D

Well it depends on how much you want your day/night system to change. If you changes so that shops are closed during (Which they are), no people on the street, etc.
Then i can really disrupt the plot. But if you exclude this, i think it's fine.

some shops will be closed, as well as most people will be off the streets, and monsters enter town at night also as before monsters become somewhat more powerful and common at night (town exculded). Other than that some things are differant at night but they are plot lines. (Like Iris not liking bosses at night...)
