Ok i have figured out something that may be a good way of creating a game. Some kind of war game in a fantasy world. Lets say you have 4 heroes, you start off as one of them who fights in the woods somewhere. When complete his first part you get too play as the next player who is a sub mariner, and have too fight ur way on the seas. And then something with the next 2 characters. And after a certain part of the game the 4 heroes get too meet each other and joins up, where the actuall "real" adventure game begins. So ideas are for each of the players..
That when you are lets say "Maxine" who fights in the jungle, then you have a party that includes some soldiers.. And the next player also has some kind of party, but when the 4 players joins up the real party is Gained. Where them all try too fight back the other lands armys or something...
Is this a good idea for a game?

seriously it is a very good idea, but what happens to all those other characters who after being used have no meaning. I suppose u could kill em off, it is a war u know. :frag:

some will die during the sequence of each player.. Maybe some will survive but stay at "a town" or something where the actuall 4 have met each other... Cuz i will use massive characters if i do this game.. Will swarm of them on the fields

Hehe, I like the idea of 40-odd playable characters in a game. Variety is the spice of life.

I really like what you have so far.
Just don't make any of the non-main characters that you won't have later on really cool, I don't want to loose a really cool character.
Hmm, just because they won't be in your team though, you could still have them playing important roles later on in the game as npcs. So if you have a really cool sub char, make him one of these important npcs so I can see him/her again :D

Or even better, make the npc's build a nuke for the end of the war!

yes you know what.. I though like this... "maxine" has a member in the beginning who is "dragonBlaze".. Then when the 4 characters are gathered, dragonblaze takes farwell cus he happens too be placed in another platoon or something. Then later in the game when "Maxines" platoon is 90 % wiped out, Dragonblaze´s platoon comes and you maybe get him in tha party or something.....
Damn i get all theese storeis when visiting the toilet :S

I probably will make a function for pressing SHIFT key. That it will show you the mission objective.. If there will be any objectives... Easy and effective :D

could be possible.. But if i am going too high tech stuff i would need high tech chipsets.... Which there is a lack off.. I am thinking of a war in a fantasy world, wait someone was making some kind of war game here.. Think linkforce... Probably, and its some kind of that style i want but i want a HUGE WAR.. hope u get it..

Hmmm since i am leaving this place for a while i will just give a small update of this game (if i do it)
I will make some kind of notebook thingy or file thing. Like resident evil... So if you collect them you can read them whenever you want too. And maybe if u collect all you will get a secret item or something.

This game sounds very interesting.
It would also be good to see one of the main 4 characters as one who didn't want to be fighting in the war, but is because he doesn't want to disappoint his family.

It's a good idea, but it's been done before. Dragon Warrior 4 did it, as did the Wild ARMS serires, just to name a few.
