Title: Recommend me movies
Post by: Drace on August 19, 2005, 10:33:44 PM
There was a time that the hero of our story, which is named Drace, saw loads of good movies. But after a horrible accident (games) that ended. He needs to get back in the movie watching business, but he can't seem to get there. So, if anyone wants to help him, donate a million dollars or tell him some good movies*!

*Please take note that he doesn't like movies older then the 70's unless it's a brilliant comedy(like The Great Dictator).

 Police Academy I
 Police Academy II
 Police Academy III
 Police Academy IV
 Police Academy V
 Police Academy VI
 Police Academy VII

And I heard they're making the number 8 now. Its just GREAT, I'll tell ya, this is a series of movies that can beat Monty Phiton!

I know you said nothing older than the 70's, but these are too funny to pass up, no matter the age.

Any Marx Brothers Movies  (Duck Soup is my favorite)

Any Three Stooges Movies (Not a full length thing, but funny as hell)

dragoninja: Nope, haven't seen any Hot Shot movie. It's on my list.

charaman: Ok, I'll check soem out by that guy. And I've allready seen Dr. Strangelove, but it's worth seeing again.

blackskullwarlock: I only saw Kung Pow out of your list, so I'm going to check out the others. And yes, I have never seen The Godfather, sue me.

carmen: Out of your list I've only seen The Aviator, I found it a bit boring. But I'm going to check out the others.

Goatulon: Snatch, seen. Shaun of the Dead, seen. Lock Stock was allready on my list. But I'm going to check out the other movie too.

coasterkrazy: I couldn't agree less with Rat Race. The movie is superb is one of the best comedies I've ever seen. Halloween was allready on my list and I've seen The Ring. Though, it made me allmost fall asleep. It might be a good thriller, but I wouldn't dare to call it a horror.

maxine: There are other great movies besides Saing Private Ryan like Enemy At The Gates and We Were Soldiers. And I allready have the DVD of SPR. I'll check out The Warriors.

kodakumi: Vampire Hunter is higher on the list now, as two people have sugested it and I've allready seen Kung-Fu Hustle. I couldn't agree less. It's a fantastic movie. Maybe even a fan-****ing-tastic movie.

oooog: Kk, I'll check out all the MP movies and the Thumb movies. Though, I think I've seen Thumb Wars allready. I'll also check out Be Cool and the others I've seen.

Spike21: Kk.

Pythis: Kk.

Tomi: I said that I didn't wanted movies older then the 70's unless it was a good comedy, so I'll check them out.

Razor: Shaun of the Dead, great movie. I'll check out Simon Pegg too.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I would like to thank everyone and please, keep them coming.

All the Star Wars... well, maybe not Episode 2, but if you don't see Episode 2, Episode 3 looses most of it's quality because you understand it less.

Lord of the Rings (All Three)

The Matrix (Yeah, all three.  I have no idea why people don't like 2&3.  I didn't like the first one and I'm obsessed with the second and third.)

I don't want to be recommending stuff in that doesn't yet exist (in USA), but I have a feeling FFVII: Advent Children will be good.  You might want to get that (Release Date: September 14, 2005).

Those are the only really good ones I can think of.
