Title: Thats what I get for trying new things
Post by: Drighton on October 10, 2005, 04:38:55 PM
I usually drink soda all day, with some water fitted in somewhere.

Well today I decide that I should try something a little more healthy - Juice. Since I work in a booth in a grocery store, I just step out and walk to the drinks section.

First sign something wasn't right: The drinks (except for a few coke products) are non-refrigerated. Just sitting on shelves for god knows how long.

Second sign something wasn't right: There was no juice.... Oh well, I go for the next substitute for juice - Snapple.

Third sign somethign wasn't right: There was no snapple juice flavors.

Okay, I end up buying some lemon tea Snapple.... damn thing tastes like RAISINS!!! Yeah, I wasted my money. The stupid bottle is yellow, has lemon written all over it and has a picture of a lemon on it, but tastes like raisins. Thats the last time I try to do something healthy.

A little while ago I tried Chicken and Mushroom Slim-a-Soup. I can say to anyone who gets close to a sachet of the stuff, do not be tempted to try it. Drinking a mixture of bile and wood would probably be tastier.

Ah, Cheez-Its and Sprite... the lunch of a salesman. :p

Yeah, Supersize Me changed my eating habits... I now just buy a burger at Mcy D's instead of a whole meal.

Sorry to say, I say never saw that movie... I've never been a big fast food eater though. I try to stay away from the stuff now, because I would like to remain skinny. I worked hard to get his way!

I've decided long ago not to conform considering the whole blog revolution, nor anything that is "popular" nowadays (i.e. iPods, the long, shaggy hair trend, and all that other bull). I'm much more content being my own person, not what the world thinks I should be.

Besides that, an off-topic forum will suffice for most of my topics. All I strive to do is incite a meaningless discussion in which parties may relate and enjoy themselves. I tire of mods berating me.

your own person? well lets take that for a sec. What if EVERYONE came here and told us about how much they hate oranges or what they're doing at work? Kinda cluttered huh? There is a def of spam I follow. I don't like random topics that really have no purpose more then the purpose of just writing something that pops into your head. I'm not berating you..if you want me to..I can do so...but you won't like it at all.

If you truly strive to make good topics....then make good topics. Talk about current events, interesting things, facts that can be discussed. Not this. So if you have any further problem with this..we'll deal with it. But not here. You're lucky this topic is still open.

Never ever use "I" Carmen...youīll lose it that way.

Yeah, some topics that Drighton creates are dull and meaningless...but thatīs all the comunity has had. And, you should observe the way the topic goes: as long as it is under control and everyone is enjoying themselves, no need to lock it or delete it...

I belive Iīve never seen a topic started by you, Camen! Itīs been a year already!

And Drighton, please, contain your brainstorms and follow the rules...

Ok, now you two hug each other for Charas peace...

You expect a bunch of teenagers to talk about current events like we're boring businessmen? You're crazy.

But, as you mods often like to remind us, we need to stay on topic.  :)

My metabolism is meh. I'm 170, and I don't really eat all that much. People with slow metabolism wish they had it fast, and those with it fast wish they had more weight. Grass always looks greener.

Carmen has plenty to say, people here just don't care about stuff she's into, like self-mutilation and Mozart operas. At least, most of you. Don't be such a honky bastard, swooping in to repeat what Carmen just said.

What the Hell is that supposed to mean?

Anyway, I think it's just great when a topic is made out of nothing. If only the mods were as appreciative of such a thing.
I wonder what it would be like if Charas had more topics made from nothing...

o.O I agree with osmose and mr. mister. I don't post useless threads becuase....I don't like them. And I can use I. Becuase "I" speak for charas in a more broad sense. I look at the whole picture instead of just on a personal level.  I like everyone here. So things I say, aren't personal....but for the greater good!

Well, I donīt know if Iīm interested or not in the things you like, since I dunno what you like! You should post, regardless of other peopleīs interest. Someone will always be interested...

Hmm, I guess Drighton's topics would be more appreciated on other forums. Ones which I have been banned from linking to.
