First, Fan Games suck. Your game may have awsome programming (as it reminds me a lot like mine) but it's still a fan game, making it automatically less then a 5 out of 10 in my book.

Oh yeah, welcome to charas, and make sure to add your game to the games section.

Hey, you go to rpg2knet, right?
I'm delita_hyral there.

Meiscool, shut the hell up about the fan game hating. We've all heard it a million times before.

I've played the demo for this, it was really awesome. I wish I thought of that battle system first.

I'm gonna take back a few things. Your game is above 5, the battle system, though slow with the endurance thing, is very cool. Your mapping is ok, but a bit different then what I'm use to seeing. I still dislike the Idea of it being FF though.

Okay, well hi delita_hyrel and thanks for the welcome.

Meiscool: your criticism is fine. I'm not going to change my game though. I knew when I started a fan game that I'd be in for a few flames. Truth is I'm not much good at coming up with a creative orr good storyline/plot.

So, you are saying Chaotic_Deaths demo/game sucks.

Welcome Seraph.

You could just rename your game. And if you have the names of people in ff or whatever, just change them to a different name. The cretive advisors could help you with that. Though, i am not in it.

I'd rather just be blunt and make a fan game. I get alot of mixed reeactions but hopefully my game is good enough that once people play it (or in this case, the demo) they can shut the hell up and just say something nice =)

Black Idio... oh wait, that's Massacre: Chaotic Death doesn't have a game smart one. He had demo, dur.

Seraph: It's not a game yet, so I have no clue what the plot and stuff is like, but I'd have to say that it's not that hard to change the plot. I mean, my game's plot is very simple: Bad guy gets power, good guy goes to different temples to gain equal power, good guy and bad guy face off, good guy wins. Easy as that. I use Rudra edits, but it's not a rudra game.

All I'm saying is rather then make a fan game, you should make a game with an original, but simple plot. Hell, you could make a game with no plot or little plot like FF tactics or Soul Caliber 3's Chronic of the Sword and use that battle system and still have a good game.

It don't really take alot of brain power to be original. It's just a matter of twisting things in a new direction.

I still believe that in order to make a good fan-game it takes more effort than an original game. You have certain standards which people have set in their minds relating it to the original that you must overcome. If it rocks, power to yeh. But yeah, most of 'em do suck like a hooker on a Saturday night.

Anyway, welcome to this, the place of stuff.

Tell that to me, around 6 years of development and I hardly have even gotten started... -_-

Let me clarify, the game itself doesnt need more effort. Its having to overcome peoples assumptions, mindsets, and overall feeling towards fangames that requires more effort. Most fail anyways at that though.
