Yeah. I'm GrooveMan.exe; A.K.A. Some Guy With a Webcomic.
I came across this site by accident when researching spriting resources for a summer course in animation and gaming.
What luck, it seems you have a nice community here.
Because I sprite as a hobby, and I've never done RPG-0style sprite yet, I'll give this thing a go, and contribute to that Charas Maker thingy you have.
So... yeah. I guess that's all. You can resume normal life now.

Welcome to the Charas Forums!
There's a moose that eats people?
No moose is going to eat me!
*strikes pose*
Thanks for the welcome. Even though I'm just going to me wandering around anyway, any suggestions on where I should start?

Not 'Requests;' I'll tell you that. Unless you're contributing to other's requests. I wrote a tutorial when I came, but you don't have to. You could join a team, or something. I don't really know, myself. Just don't go around asking people for stuff until your post count is around 25-50, talking explicitly incorrect in grammatical contexts, or overusing profanity. Don't say random things when it's not related to the topic, either. And before you reply to threads, look at the post date of the last person who posted. If this is more than a week or two ago, this is probably something no one cares about anymore, and will clog up the boards.(This is known as,"topic-kicking.")
As long as you be polite and follow the rules, I guess you can do whatever you want.
As with the moose thing, Moosetroop11 tries to eat all of the newbies. Note that newbie/newb is very different than n00b/noob/nub.
I shall now bid you farewell, young...whatever you're supposed to be!

-_- A little to late about the necro-posting. I didn't realise that topics get old so quickly here. Yeah, I've used a couple of forums before I came here - so I'm kind of a semi-newb.
Maybe I'll just try my hand at making a charset, and seeing where I go from there. I'll have a quick browse of the tutorials too.
Thanks for the help!
