Title: Outlaw star char set and battle chars
Post by: Qwertypolk on January 18, 2007, 09:07:06 PM
there are some outlaw star char sets on the site already, but I get an error when importing and they wont reply so I was hoping someone would be able to make a char set and a battle char set for the attached picture
Title: Can you get it to work now?

If your using photoshop (thats what I have) change it from rgb color to indexed color which should be in mode unless you have a different version...

Thats all I can say...

The problem is that you saved it as a JPEG, Krynth. JPEG are bad bad bad for RPGMaker.

The file type has little to do with it.
JPEGs blur the picture for compressions or some such, rendering the pictures unusable for sprite-based things (like RM).

hmm, well then. that brings me back to my first question, can anyone make them?

Yes, but Qwertypolk said that he changed the file type after downloading it.  I had to rephrase it to mention that the file type doesn't matter, it's the compression that happens partway through.
