So by now everyone has seen the "Hero Member" and "Jr. Member" titles that are given to people based on posts. Admins and Global Mods also get special stars based on their rank as well.
Well everything right now is set as the default, but I'd like to make them a little more Charas-y. So we're going to design "badges" of a sort. They don't necessarily need to be badge-shaped (A bar would probably look better), but we need 7 of them. We also need at least 8 rank names and the post counts to correspond. Here's the default:

250 - Sr. Member
500 - Hero Member
None - Moderator
None - Global Moderator
None - Administrator[/spoiler]
Now, it's important to note that we are NOT limited to just 8 ranks! The system allows for any number of post ranks so you can go as detailed as you want.
The rank and badge designs that everyone likes the most will get used. Once the award mod is installed the people who "win" will also get badges to show off their awesomeness in helping the site. Remember, we're asking for a rank setup AND badges, although you do NOT have to suggest both (ie Gemini suggests a rank setup and Moosetroop designs a set of badges, and they both win).
Your badge designs can be anything from just single image badges to a star-system like is in place now, or a mix. Go wild.

I dunno whether that would be a good idea. Just my opinion, but isn't it better if they're quite simple? The problem with the forum first time we switched was that it was crowded with unnecessary crap. Animated post things would look super awesome but with one on every post the site would start looking incredibly busy... Maybe. I dunno. Prove me wrong I guess :p

Size limits are whatever is reasonable, and GIFs or PNGs are allowed, but not animated GIFs - Moosetroop makes a good point in that they'd be too busy.

I like how Lucas' "new" ones are just the fusion ones he made with mine, but with barely different bars. They're the same. Just because you've made your own bars that looks slightly different doesn't make it your own idea. You even used some of my titles as well. Stick with what you had, and do your own damn thing. Seriously, if I pilfered your shizz, made something almost exactly the same and said it was "ALL MINE", you'd cry and we'd have to call the WAAAAAMBULANCE. Shut up.

Also, what annoys me is that you weren't using those particular titles before you started borrowing my resources, but afterwards, you were. Come on, you even had to ask me on MSN what a Squire is. And I'm fairly sure the odds that you thought to use the exact same titles as me purely by chance, after copying my resources, are virtually nil.

Alright, Lucas. Sorry to say this, but from what I understand, you ignored Dragonium's request not to fuse the idea. Then, when you remade them, Dragonium did not see them as that big of a difference, and honestly, neither do I. He still considers it to be the same "combined" bars masked behind a couple of small edits. Dragonium is telling you that he still considers it a fusion, and you're trying to justify ignoring his requests by claiming that you would allow him to do such a thing if you were in his position, however, the problem is that..... Dragonium is not you. If he considers it theft, then it's theft.
This is not about Dragonium "being mean" to you, this is about you ignoring his request to remove the bars from your submission time and time again and you trying to find a way around it.
Please don't make this any worse than it already is.

EDIT: Just to be constructive, Bluhman, I like yours a lot, and the little gems are really cool. Very RPG-ish. I think the text needs to be a little... fancier. It looks like it was done in Paint at the last moment. Fix that and you're a strong contender to win.

Yeah, I actually did realize that from before (see the page 6, I believe) and I had tried fixing it, but it just ended up looking worse. I also tried removing it all together, but that didnīt look so great either... So Iīm not sure what I should do about it...

We talked it over and Bluhman won. Dragonium was a close second and Gemini's rocked everyone's face until we realised it didn't work well with the blue.
HOWEVER, there is nothing barring the other submissions from being used at later dates in other themes. So we retain the right to use them as well as the promise to award those whose images are used. More to come eventually!

Uh... I know I was never really involved and all, but to me they look a bit... out of place for lack of a better term. I mean, they look nice themselves, but it just seems to be... cumbersome. Maybe I think they're just too big. Oh, well, it's probably just me.
