Looked at it. Still clueless. I think I might try doing what this one website says and bake it with butter and sugar.
It's ugly, ripe and starting to make my dining room smell.

Why did you buy it If you had no idea what it was? did it look edible or something?

An excellent question.
I know it is in the mulberry family as we get two specific types of Mulberry. (White and Red)
But you shouldn't grab up anything you don't know how to eat, kinda wasteful to let it rot.
It is said to have a flavor similar to fresh baked bread when cooked.

I didn't realize one had to cook it.
EDIT: Baking it right now.

I need to know if this thing actually tastes like bread or not. Keep me posted.

Just finished eating some.
To tell the truth, I don't know what the hell it tastes like. I can only describe it as dull. The sugar and butter was the best part.

The sugar and butter was the best part.
That's the best part in any meal.

My parents came home just a bit ago. They wondered what the hell died in the kitchen.
My dad tried it. Said that people must be pretty ****ing hungry to keep it as a staple food. My mom almost puked (drama queen...)
That's the best part in any meal.
I completely agree. Either that, or the bacon.

GIMME TEH BACAAAAAWN!
Or the toasted, disemboweled rolls stuffed with roast beef and cheese.
