You can find a lot of mega man midis around the internet. Like VGMusic.

There's a little program that converts MIDI's to 8-Bit WAVs.
It's called GXSCC.
Then there's also this "MSPaint for Sound Effects" that I can't remember the name of that I always used for Kyoob, which makes good 8-bit sounding sound effects, if you want to do everything manually.

I got GXSCC, now I don't need any music files. I still need the good old classic sound effects.

Oh, I forgot to mention in the last message, GXSCC has HORRIBLE compression, so you're going to want to convert the WAV's into MP3's, to cut down on size.
I think I've authored a MIDI that got converted into a 40mb WAV.

I copyed sound files from the RTP and tried to convert them to 8Bit, but GXSCC can't seem to do it. :-\
