Porting rm2k/3 games to PSP or DS??!?!
While trying to google up some info on RPG Maker DS I came across this (http://rpgcrisis.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2436) thread on another forum. Now, I've only been looking at this for literally five minutes, but I'm so excited and hopeful. This is pretty much what I've always hoped would be possible.
EDIT: I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly what's going on here or how this is suppose to work (as I am completely useless when it comes to anything coding), but I've found updates for as early March 2010, so I dare say the project is not dead.
Here's there wiki

EDIT2: After reading the wiki I realize why I should contain my excitement before I post a new topic and until I really know what I'm excited about. -_- It seems the project still has a long ways to go? I really don't know, I'm confused by the whole thing. What I've gotten so far is that it's an open project, where anyone can edit anything, and this is probably why it's taking a long time (atleast it seems). DS portability is lacking because of the DS limitations, while the PSP and other platforms seem far more capable. It seems doubtful I'll be able to compile all the necessary files to try this out on my own games(simply because I wouldn't know what to do with them). Kind of a bummer (if I'm right about all this), but still an interesting project to keep an eye on.
EDIT3: If anyone with knowledge wants to simplify the steps for me or just tell me it's a waste of time... that'd be great!

Directory Service and Paint Shop Pro.
I wish it could work on PSP without the use of any custom firmware.
