Well, I have no concern for anything Sims, so no. No excitement. As of right now, my Xbox is reserved for Halo. After that, it's Mass Effect 2, Monkey Island 2, Scott Pilgrim, uhh... Finishing Darksiders, I guess... Point is, I've got plenty of things on my plate that I actually care about.

Wow, that came off a lot more aggressively than I wanted. Oh well, I'm too tired to re-type things right now.

I played the hell out of The Sims 2, but never bought 3. It's a game that eats up a lot of time. Makes a pretty good substitute for not having a life when you don't have one, but now that I'm busy, I don't think I'd enjoy it nearly as much.

I remember I once made "Charas Town" in Sims 3. Then bought a house for Grandy, Bluhman, Sai'Kar, Alex, Alex's Evil Twin Brother (who we eventually banned because he was a prick) and Warxe.

Highlights were that Bluhman became a succesfull police captain, Alex became a street musician that got more money by street tips than anyone in the house go by working, Alex's Evil Twin Brother never got a job and lived out of our money, Warxe changed jobs like people changed clothes, but eventually settled for being a hacker and stealing stuff from people's accounts, and Grandy became a phantom thief of sorts, and Sai became an overworked bussness woman who was stressed for working too much and got stressed by not working enough either. Also, Sai'Kar had a kid. Then dumped the guy for another woman.

We had a house with three floors and personalized rooms for everyone. Grandy's bed was on the roof because he felt stressed sleeping indoors. Sai had a separated house from the rest of us once she got married, but which was still conneted to the main house. Warxes room was all bluish and had a last-gen computer for all his hacking needs, Bluhman's room had all sorts of training gear because he just stood out to me as someone who would train himself Alex's and Twin Brother's rooms were in front of each other and went with a Bizzarro feel. They were mirrored but with different colors.

It was a sweet game. Too bad I can't find it anymore.

So tempting to make this Sai'Kar canon.

Why would I care? Sims 1 is still fun.

Please do so.

I kinda liked the first game. It was original, then the second game came out which kinda killed it.
Why? Well, you see I had all these expansions and 2 didn't have like any expansions with holidays, pet shops, dragons and stuff. And it was too good for my computer. By the time I remembered the Sims series - I realized there were tons of expansions for 2 as well and that 3 was in the making.

So yeah, I stick to Rpgmaker.

I also enjoyed the first game for the PC. Haven't really played Sims 2 because my computer couldn't accept it, and didn't even see what 3 was like. I tried a few console Sims as well, and... I didn't really enjoy them. All those I tried were mission type kind of games, which I didn't really like compared to the PC ones . So if 3 on the Xbox is like the rest of console Sims, I doubt I'll even try it. If it's more like PC's, then maybe, yeah.

Ilu

Well, supposedly in Sims 3 you can pretty much change anything and everything, and play with other people online <<... So hopefully I can burn down someone else's house or something.

I'm also looking forward to Sims Medieval because it appears that you can get their heads chopped off. =D

play with other people online

What? No. Dunno where you heard that.

The best you get is the ability to share your patterns / creations / sims / families / etc with other people on the Exchange. Ain't no online play last time I checked.

I played the first Sims for a little while years ago. I mainly just used the money cheat and messed around with random weird stuff. Maybe I still have it around here somewhere.

(Speaking of Alex's Evil Twin Brother, I can't log in as him because apostrophes aren't allowed. Phooey.)

Man
I played Sims 2
And that thing was seriously addictive
but Sims 3 just lacked that draw for me and I don't know why.

It's possible it's because I never made a house filled with Charas characters.
Charascters.

I think the last game of the franchise I played was Simcity 2000.

She tends to identify that as "play with other people online" for unknown reasons. Today's web games tend to have that effect on people. Some online interchange and websites state that as "play with other people."\

Alzo, I am in the same boat as Zerls. Last Sim game I played was sim city. And that was because the computer I played it on didn't have anything else. I tried a sim game on the gamecube once, but it was dreadful.

Bullying would imply that I am making false accusations and remarks about your identity. i fail to see that where I have done either. If what I said was wrong, then, well, I am sorry.

Otherwise... oh well =P

Now now kids, let's let Mid be and concentrate on something else.

Also, I hate when they slap an "online contentibly"(or something, these are hard words) on games that don't have a real online mode.
Like FF3 or FFCC RoF, the only thing you could do with them online was sending mails and items.
I also remember some game where the online mode mentioned was a chat and nothing more.

Well, they've gotta throw those on there for the sake of covering their asses. If someone sends in a terribly lewd letter, the game rating essentially jumps up a fair bit. So I definitely understand the point.
