A really good friend of mine died Thursday night. We don't know what happened. He was working out in his basement when his parents found him unconscious. His brother performed CPR but there was nothing they could do for him. I've known him since he was 14, he was only 19. Everyone that knew him loved him. He was one of those rare people who got along with everyone and was kind and patient with everyone. I just wanted to post here so you all know why I've been absent. I know I told lucas I'd post up a new version of AoA. I don't know when I'll be back, but the funeral is Wednesday.

Condolences. Losing a friend is harsh, especially when you're both young.
-
Balls.
-
Heart failure when the guy was 19? That sucks.
-
Very sorry to hear that. I doubt anyone here is going to be upset with you over AoA so don't worry.
-
That's awful. Condolences.
-
My sincerest apologies. Take your time...

In front are his mother and father. I met with them yesterday. They are honestly the nicest, most forgiving people. It's easy to know where Jonno got it from. I've never been more torn up in my life. Thank you all.

I'm sorry for posting all this. I know it's really depressing.

That's horrible, Dren. Sorry to hear about that.

Don't apologize, you have no reason to. We're all here for you (as best as we can be when we're thousands of miles away). If you need people to listen and you can't talk to people where you are, I know everyone here will be willing to hear (or I suppose, read) you. If you want to keep it to yourself, then everyone here understands that too. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we just want to be here for you.
