Drinking only makes your problem worst when you're sober. Or so I heard.
I don't drink either, I just deal with my not-so-happy life as well. One day it'll get better, and I won't have lost myself to drinks or anything else when it happens.

Drinking is not the devil you lot make it out to be. It's really not that big a deal. You drink occasionally and lower your inhibitions for a while.  Then the next day nothing much has changed apart from the fact that you might have had a fairly good time.  Drinking changes nothing but refusing to drink really alienates you from a lot of social situations.

Drinking hype is retarded. Drinking is fine, if you're smart about it. Don't drink more than you can handle, and don't drown your troubles.

Of course, if you simply dislike the taste of alcohol, there's no shame in not drinking.

Lucas' mention of it made it seem like he'd drink his trouble (even though he probably wasn't really serious... or was he!?) in which case it IS bad.
