(I've Been working on this for a while)


Story
Hundreds of years ago dark magic ran rampant through the land,  hundreds corrupt sages used forbiden arts to wreck havoc through out the four continents. A group of wizards stood up to this threat and created a alternate reallity called the Imminent Frontier. Together they gained allys and hunted down the sages one by one and locked them into the Imminent Frontier until they thought they had all the sages captive.Peace was created and it prospered until a new king took control of southern continent and used forbiden magic to take souls out of the Imminent Frontier and transform them into monsters. Now monsters run rampant and the southern continent is on a conquest to take over the rest of the continents.

Western Characters
Name:Naru
Age:22
Class: Lord Knight
Weapon: 2 handed swords
Background: A knight that grew up at the Western Knight Academy. His Father was a genral in the western army and is very good friends with the king. He is a great damage dealer and can damage even the most armored monsters.

Name:Mia
Age:19
Class: Witch
Weapon: Staffs
Background: Mia is Naru's younger sister who was an apprentice at age 7. She hard do much physical damage, but when it comes to raw elemental magic, she's your girl.

Name:Sam
Age:22
Class:Sniper
Weapon: Crossbows
Background: Sam was Naru's best friend growing up. He was the best in his class at archery. He is in Naru's regiment and his bolts can kill arial units easily.

Name:Logan
Age:20
Class: Spearman
Weapon: Spears
Background: Logan is a spearman that can use many debuffing skills. He can get an edge on many monsters be halving their stats.

Northern Characters
Name: Levi
Age:21
Class:Reaper
Weapon: Scythes
Background:The head of the Raven Mercenary Group.He uses his scythe to do heavy damage and channel his light magic.

Name:James
Age:20
Class: Bandit
Weapon: Axe
Background: James used to pillage everytown he could find until a person very near to him died, now he is a soldier for hire with the Raven Mercenery Group.

Name:Zach
Age:23
Class: Paladin
Weapon: Lance
Background: Zach is a paladin that grew up in the same village as Levi. When the southern continent attacks the northern Zach joins forces with levi to fight them off.

Weapon:Twin Daggers
Background: Lance is an assasin sent by the western continent to aid the northern continent. He first seems like a regular soldier for hire, but when you are in need he joins your party.

Eastern Characters
Name: Dirk
Age:26
Class:Nomad
Weapon:Short Swords
Background: Dirk was kicked out of his village for letting a monster that killed his shaman get past his gaurd. Now he travels the plains as a nomad.

Name:Alex
Age:23
Class:Hunter
Weapon:Long Bows
Background: Alex lives in a forrest on the eastern continent. One day he met Dirk as he was crossing through. They have been best friends ever since.

Name: Drake
Age:24
Class:Rogue
Weapon: Dagger
Background: Drake is a rogue that is part of the Eastern Army.
He scouts out Dirk and Alex as they take on a group of soldiers and then he decides to join their party

Name: Darren
Age:22
Class: Druid
Weapon: Rods
Background: Darren is  master of dark magic. He was in the southern army until his master has killed for expected treason. Now he joins Dirk's party to avenge his master.


These aren't all of the characters but I'm to lazy to write them right now.

Having an evil sealed away (in your case sent to another dimmension) could turn out to be a bad thing, especailly if you have to search for multiple things to keep it seeled.

Though I do like the ability to choose where to fight, and the multitude of characters, it'll add a lot to the gameplay

you don't have to find things to keep it sealed your main intention is to defeat the southern kingdom to stop the war, and later to get rid of the new king.
