Their music is ... I would say a blend of Marvin Gaye, Old School break beats, and The Beatles. Their music owns. Listen to it and tell me what you think of it. Even you Hip Hop haters should listen. YOu might just end up feeling it.

I picked 3 out your list. 'A Tribe Called Quest', 'Outkast' and 'De La Soul'. And ffs, get that B itchy Elliot out it.

EDIT: Judging by the track 'Can I Kick It?', I don't think I'll like 'A Tribe Called Quest'. Judging by the track 'Hey Ya', I think I can enjoy 'Outkast'.

She's not underground but she is alt. Sad enough. Not everyone in underground is good. A lot of them are tho.
Listen to Deltron and if you can find MF Doom's song Deep Fried Frenz, I love that song.
Jedi Mind Tricks is pretty good too, but I can't care for them.

Ring Ring Ring is a cool song I havn't heard it in forever. The Gorillaz's song, Dirty Harry, wouls have to be my favorite song of all time.

So far it's still lying on the heap with all the junk I dislike with a few exceptions. For one, Gorillaz is also rock, but I ony like a few songs though. And of course a few songs I like from others... well ok, 1...

So it's not doing great up here.

With any genre you'll find crap and not everyone who claims what they are are what they say they are. (lost) You can call Gorillaz rock but it is Alt. Many see it was rock or pop but no, it's pop. Even though I guess Blur would be rock. Since Alt does not have any set rules there's a lot of alt peeps that are just trashy but I've told you which ones own out of all the people.
