I can't use esc for canceling menus anymore help me!

It only works with alt what is going on here? alt and enter only work now for menus and selections because alt became my cancel key. What happened to esc? The dash feature made my normal movement speed twice normal because of this mess up. I press and hold shift to use that. Can anyone tell me what went wrong? Note it only does this in test play so far. I tried my old same file guessing the problem was saved into the file but both files have this bug. At a start of abattle it says let's do this! and you must press alt to iniciate the battle when it was enter before otherwise it is enter to accept and alt to cancel.

Did you try resetting your computer? Also, do you have a gamepad plugged in?

Um I don't have gamepad and mic I was in a panic no wonder you couldn't understand me. I hit somthing along with shift (dashing) and control (phasing) when a move event was going awry (sp?) Now alt switched with esc and...

oh I just tested a battle and its fine now. It was a keyboard error after all. *scratches head*

This is very easy to solve.  First off, start using the number pad on your keyboard (0 is the esc. key).  Press the Number Lock key on your keyboard a couple of times and it should work.  If not, alternatively press the number lock key and the 0 key on the number pad and it will work.
