....I request a lot. I  hope I'm starting to make it up with the stuff I'm doing....
Anyway.
I need some help with a midi for Ember Sky. I need a quiet, mysterious character theme that doesn't sound sinister. Maybe using acoustic guitar, piano, or a little bit of a tinkly xylophone/marimba type sound.
This will first play in the scene where Caolan meets Christophe and goes into a trance-like state, spouts some prophetical nonsense, then blows crap up. I'd like to use it as a continuing theme for the growing mystery behind Caolan's power and its connection to Christophe.
For anyone who works on this or has something they think works, thanks a bunch. Right now, I'm using a piece I found that doesn't quite work for the scene or the game.

The MIDI I'm using is attached.
It's a bit too tinkly sounding, and not quite dark enough for Caolan.
I don't have any screens available, but there are some shots of Caolan in the ES topic. He's the funny silver-haired kid in green.
