  Hello everyone, I have finally gotten around to posting this... I have had rm2k3 since I don't know... I have always gotten good/great/rubbish ideas for games that I would always try, virtually destroying whatever good/great/rubbish idea I had been working on before this one... But! With all this programming experience I have gotten through Charas & these millions of ideas, I have finally started creating a game that I can actually do & have an inerest in actually doing. Some points such as title, as you've noticed, a little tad of story, & some character names, I have still not finished but... I think I have enough to boast about to you, my adoring audience.

Genre: Mostly realistic, maybe/probably a little bit on fantasy in the mix, based in the 18th century, but not exactly historicaly accurate & sometimes probably nowhere near the truth...

Story:

  Piracy was at its peak. The honorable men of the past had turned from their honorable ways in search of wealth. Their turn to the wicked had brought Europe into chaos. Villages were plundered & burned, men & children killed, the women raped. No one was shown mercy... Some countries signed treaties with each other so as to try & stand against the savage pirates. The peoples of Europe began to believe that their Kings & Queens were doing nothing to try & stop the butchering marauders, so many of the peasants began to rebel against their lords to make their own safe haven, away from the pirates. Though some rebels had succeeded in breaking away from their lords, it only stirred the chaos even more because these once strong countries had spilt into warring factions... ...

  Enter Alphonse Triumph, a young & rambunctious lord who had inheireted his land from his now deceased father. Alphonse never did truely care for manners or even his position & rank, consequently earning distrust & hate from the neighboring lords. He lived a life of luxury within his castle as the people in his land died of starvation as the crop had gone bad that year. Many peasants began to leave his land that year, moving into the neighboring regions or becoming pirates. Those who stayed were forced to give up what little food they had so that their lord would remain happy. Angered, some of the remaining peasants formed an underground resistance against Alphonse's rule. After months of battle, most of the resistance was crushed, & the survivers were forced into slavery. As the small war ended, pirates came upon Alphonse's territory & began pillaging was little was left. With pirates invading, & patches of the resistances still attacking, Alphonse was being pressured into defeat. After countless defeats against the rampaging pirates, Alphonse's forces were virtually crushed. In his last safe haven of St. Veagon Castle, Alphonse began planning to escape west, to his last remaining ally, Lord Franir...

Alphonse Triumph:
Age - 27
Weapon of Choice - Saber
Affiliation - Alphonse Army

  Lord of the St. Veagon region, which was handed down from his family's past generations. An uncaring man, but a brave warrior who is unmatched on the battlefield. He was brought up by Roger, who has been the assistant and butler of Alphonse's grandfather & father before Alphonse himself. Due to his lack of assistance & friendship, Alphonse has but one ally, his childhood friend, Lord Franir. Since he never truely cared for anyone but himself, the people of his region gave him the nickname of 'Satan's Right Hand', to which Alphonse only laughed. Although his might was shown on the battlefield against the pirates, Alphonse was eventually defeated by them & confined himself within his castle in shame. As the region was swallowed by pirates, the remnants of the peasant resistance joined the pirates & began to move on St. Veagon Castle. Alphonse had no choice but to try & escape to Lord Franir & beg for assistance. Little did he know that Franir was having problems of his own...

Unplayable:

Roger Perenolde:
Age - 62
Weapon of Choice - Wit
Affiliation - Alphonse Army

  Assistant & butler of the Triumph family for three generations, Roger has earned absolute trust from them. In his younger days, Roger served Alphonse's grandfather, Lord Jaques Triumph, as his lead strategist & helped conquer most of the present-day St. Veagon region. When Alphonse's grandfather passed away, Roger began to serve Alphonse's father, Lord Henry Triumph. Henry was almost never home, so Roger was usually busy with Henry's son, Alphonse, whom he brought up from his teens to now. Although he never lets it show, Roger is secretly ashamed of what Alphonse has become & vowed to follow Alphonse till the day he died, trying to undo the curruption in Alphonse.

Daniel Franir XVIII, a.k.a. Daniel the Righteous:
Age - 27
Weapon of Choice - Flintlock Pistol
Affiliation - Grendling Alliance

  Daniel is a long time friend of Alphonse's, yet they are complete opposites. As Alphonse is uncaring & selfish towards his people, Danial is a man of God with unwavering devotion to the wellfare of his people. During the year of the ruined crop, Daniel shared his wealth of food with his people, ensuring stability & peace within his region, in which the people have him the name 'Daniel the Righteous'. When chaos erupted due to the increase in piracy, Daniel formed an alliance with his southern neighbor, Lord Jason Frederick, this was known as the Fredrick/Franir Alliance. In time, the Frederick army was destroyed & the alliance was dissolved. When all hope seemed lost, an island region under Lord James Grendling offered peace & assistance to Franir against to pirates, to which he eagerly accepted. Eventually, Franir's coasts were once again clean of pirates. But something stirred within the Grendling region that threatened the existence of Franir's people...

Lady Maria Franir:
Age - 23
Weapon of Choice - None
Affiliation - Grendling Alliance

  Younger sister of Daniel, Maria is loved by the people of the Franir region. She is known for her sweetness & caring of the people. Maria has but one weakness that most everyone knows of, her love for Alphonse. Whenever Alphonse had visited the Franir estate on which the Franir family lived, she would tend to lose her composure & would always follow him like a loyal dog.

Anne Quelling, a.k.a. The Siren:
Age - 34
Weapon of Choice - Fencing Blade
Affiliation - Pirates

  Anne Quelling, better known as 'The Siren', is one of the most infamous pirates alive. Her past first-mate, Quallas, was believed to be a canabal, which lead people to believe she only took prisoners to feed him, hence her nickname. During the increase in piracy, there was a mutiny within the Siren's crew, which left Quallas dead, & Siren & her loyalists left for dead in an escape raft. Found be other pirates, Siren killed their leader in a vye for power & became the captain of the ship, The Night's Howl.

Horace Grendling:
Age - 52
Weapon of Choice - Broad Sword
Affiliation - Grendling Alliance

  Leader of the Grendling Alliance. Horace is best known for his bloodlust against pirates & his massive navy. Although he tends to fight alone, he saw that Franir was in dire need of assistance against the pirates & offered an alliance. Horaces council & son, Solomon Grendling, opposed the alliance, saying it would diminish their supplies to almost nothing & it would anger the people. Nonetheless, he offered his services to Daniel...

Solomon Grendling:
Age - 30
Weapon of Choice - Twin Blades
Affiliation - Grendling Alliance

  Not much is known about Solomon. He is the eldest son of Horace Grendling, & next in line for the region. Soomon tends to disagree with his father, which has seperated them greatly. Unbeknownst to Horace, his council was bribed into favoring Solomon, & are plotting to overthrow him...

Systems:

 - ABS, might implement a shooting system to it, but so far just melee combat
 - No RTP junk, yay!
