I have a real request

Wassup guyz, I need a CMS for a detective game I am making.
I found this old relic o' mine when cleaning my hardrive, and I feel like reviving it.

Anyway, I need a CMS like in Phoenix Wright, or similar to it. I need it so I can view what evidence and items I possess, and so I can present it to people during, and before conversation. Of course, I don't mean to bring it up at anytime during conversation, just when prompted. If someone could do this, I would be SO HAPPY!

Just a quck question to get some things straight.
Is it okay if you equip the item you're gonna present?

As long as I could return to a conversation or event, without it looping, or something messing up. But, I could work around the conversation thing though.

That can be a slight problem.

Gimme' some minutes to think about ways to work around that.

Well, I could make it so the Conversation ends before needing to select something, and then resume it after something is selected.

Okay, I found a way to do it.

It involves copies of the CMS map and conditional branches when exiting. Whereon the conversation continues.

And just so you know. The system is obviously flawed(as in, ugly and large, not actually malfunctioning).
So see how it's done and make your own. That's my advice.
