silent destiny

Hi, Over the next few months I hope to post everything I can about my up comming game Silent Destiny.
It will be featuring music from Final Fantasy, Xenogears, Doctor who, Bleach, and Inuyasha.

The game will be using the minkoff sideview battle system.
So far I have the following:
Setting
[spoiler]   The world of Asra is home to great spirtes, robot armies, demons and even gods. You start your journey on the small island of Feylor just off the cost of  Hytarra. It is here you meet Rose and are confunted with your destiny by the Goddess of songs Laka.

Plot
[spoiler]   With little to no memory to speak of you find yourself in the company of a beautiful priestess who only wish is to help you gain back the memorys you have lost, but it seems the gods have other plans for you as you are soon pushed out into a war torn world. You must save the people of the land and at thee same time earn the favor of the gods in order to face the evil Cacus. What do the fates have in store for you. Only time will tell.[/spoiler]

so i'm done with the first boss and getting ready to start with the main story. The Player I about to leave the
island the game started on by order on the goddess laka. she tells the main chacter the the gods have been asked for their help in this war that rains on the lands but they are forbidden or unable to interact with the mortal world on such a level without some kind of medum "aka summoner". the gods are listed here[spoiler]Arawn the goddess of the under world, Artio the goddess of winter, Poseidon god of the sea  Marduk god of souls and jugment, Laka goddess of song, Volcano god of rebirth, and Erutan spirte of the world[/spoiler] My question is what should I have the player do first, and should i give them a summon this early in the game?

I say the player gains does sompthing,mabey get angry[for a short temprtd guy] or gets shocked or whatever and summons.
