I need some help (again...) cause I cant find a tutorial how to make battle char set on easiest way
I tried many times to make some battle chars... but always failed =(
maybe some experienced battle char-maker could help with it ?
(something like 1. begin with head (first eyes or mouth) or something like that xD)
would be really nice if someone could help =P
(when i tried just something like this comes out...)

What would help (as it did for me) is zooming in and looking at how quality sprites are constructed, then trying to apply that in your own way. Things to look out for is shading, color usage, and light. I won't say it is easy, but with many things, the more you practice the easier it gets.

Faces are rather unimportant.
Make sure that the body changes according to the motions.
The light should probably come from the upper-left or the upper-right, so shade with the lighest colours towards that point and the dark colours away from it.
Clothes and stuff aren't pillow shaded - it's not dark around the edges and light in the middle.
And so on...
Anyway, do you need help on how to do the base for the battle char? Like a custom design then you need to learn the human body's anatomy, you need to know how the body looks and works in order to design it. Or something like that. I'd advice you to practise yourself. Practise give birth to skills after all.

It is alot easier IMO to zoom in close and edit things pixel by pixel to carefully work out the shape of the head, hair, etc. Humans are rather simplistic since variety is mainly in hair, eyes, and slight stature/face length. Clothing too. But very basic. There are many examples out there to look at for this. The hair for example is unshaded and pretty messy, needs some detailing and shading.
This is a sprite I need to finish, it isn't human but it shows some shading and texture that might help you. Basically you need to do some shint and darker colors to even out the glaring red/orange. Hair is a bit difficult, but if you understand how it looks big like on anime characters and whatnot, it can be applied to sprites, just scaled down. Eyes have a kind of glimmer usually. Also, don't try to over-detail a small sprite. This can give some awkward effects since they'd be squished together if you try too much. Hands for bchars need not to be very formed, since they are relatively small, they can hint at fingers but don't try squeezing in every single digit. Hmmm... what else... clothes, right, clothes is kinda fun. You can do a lot with it, but it is a bit difficult to get right. Again, don't try to overdetail, look at a few good bchars and see how clothes flows to get the basic idea, have examples to run by, and apply it. I have difficulty with clothes honestly, especially flowing robes.
Females and males are shaped differently, though in standard bchar this is not so visible. But differences are like in waist dipping in a bit, and hips a bit wider, less broader shoulders if that works at this angle and that about does it.
And as Prpl said, faces are unimportant. Many frames of Bchars will be very much the same, except for perhaps the pain and fallen frames. The body motions are the things to work on.

I think it's hard to hide something... in middle of such nice people XD

the zoom thingy will work maybe =P maybe I can do it on some way xD (my gf is good at making clothes for them)
I just need to do face/hair/hands I think =D
