What's the perfect X and Y cordianties for making battle animations using Paint?

Hi, I was wondering. I saw some Battle animations and noticed how they're well done. I was wodnering how they do it on paint. If someone can tell me the apporitate X and Y Cordinantes so I can make my own Battle animations like X's armors. I been trying, bu they don't quite fit well. Did some RPG Makers have problems with making the perfect battle character and animations? If so, can someone please give me some tips on how to perfect making battle animations?

You dont need XY co-ords...you need to read the help file to get the frame and image dimensions. I think you would be well off to look up some animation tutorials. X&Y of an animation is subjective, as the whole point is for the image to move around. Depending on what version of RPGM you are using, the frame sizes and layout will be different. Be sure to check your help file, or look up a battle-character template on COMPLETE RESOURCES section of the page. There should be a multicoloured template sheet around. Good luck!

To be fair, the help files don't work with Vista period.

That's true.
The battle animation sheet is 480x480pixels.
It's divided into 25 "tiles" which acts like separate images.
Each "tile" is 96x96pixels.
There are also templates in the Complete resource wher each "tile" is in a different colour. Makes it easier to compile stuff.
Also this is for RPGm2k3 (probably 2k as well). I have this hunch that XP and VX can handle pretty much everything just like their charsets.

But i really need help on making perfect battle animations, I just crop the sprites from a sprite sheet from some site and place them on a title on a battle animation template and I colored the title with a color I think is best. But what X and Y corridates did you guys use for your battle animation sheets? I really need some help on maing really good battle animations like the Falcon Armor I'm working on.

I still don't get this "what X and Y corridates did you guys use?" question.
Care to get some pics or something to explain it?

Well, you should try to centre them inside the tile as much as ppossible.
Then you make sure that the next sprite will be in the approx same place in relation to the first one.
You can either do this by copying the entire "tile" and paste it over the first and then ctrlZ,ctrlY over and over to see if it looks good.
There are also templates where each tile is divided into a bunch of 16x16 squares which makes it easier to place sprites. You just have to look at the squares inside the tile to see where they were palced.
