Naruto overworlds? (RPG maker 2003)

Hey, I'm making a naruto RPG using Rpgmaker 2003
but I don't understand how to make chipsets nor charsets
I've looked on the resources area of the site. It had some of what I needed
but some of the other stuff came up with 'Invalid colour depth' or 'file size too big or small'

Does anyone know where I can get or could give me some chip and charsets for naruto?

If it says "Invalid Colour Depth" then you need to find a program to convert it to 256 colors.

It's pretty much designed specifically for RM2K3 sprites, as it only deals with 256 color images. Find some charset/chipset templates online or just take an existing set and modify it; View the palette, zoom in to "8," and go pixel by pixel. Chipsets will probably be way too hard for a beginner, but you should be able to tweak charsets to your liking.

That said, I'm sure there are plenty of Naruto charsets out there, as well as chipsets that fit the Naruto theme. Lonewolf is usually our go-to guy for sniffing out that sort of thing, so let's see if he comes along.

Here's a brief tutorial which should suffice. It's extremely simple once you figure out the layout and limitations of 256-color graphics.

I go to this site for the sprites I want http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/N.html   
then i use Alferd spritesheet unpacker on the sprite sheets from this site. What this program does is take all the characters and turn them into single pictures, YAY! As for the error you're getting, I had the same problem for over a year and came to find that if I just used paint, the regular windows paint that comes on your pc, and open an original rpg maker 2003 battle char set or a chara set, then open the single pics of sprites you've saved from alferd unpacker, you can copy and paste it over the original and save it and it will work in rpg maker. if you need any help feel free to msg me anytime
