Project for Awesome: My second charity contribution since starting my YouTube!

This is the second time I've heard about a charity event last-minute and yet have managed to get myself together enough to contribute with that little notice. Project for Awesome encourages the community to make videos talking about their favorite charities. Mine is, broadly, any charity that goes to regions without easy access to fresh, clean water, and finds a sustainable way to get water to the community, whether that's building an aquifer to get water from underground, putting up a billboard that condenses water from humid air, or sets up a way for the community to make their own filters so they can take advantage of existing bodies of water without getting horribly sick. The primary charity I refer to is Water.org, but there's tons of others doing good in related ways.
Here's the video I made explaining it in more detail:

So far, since starting my YouTube channel, I have:
Established Tiny Box Tim Day as "a holiday for helping others" on June 28th
Participated in Extra Life, which raised $169 between me and my friend, and jump-started my channel's gaming videos
Participated in Project for Awesome by making a video, spreading the word, and giving a small personal donation
Extra Life really did help me out: Prior to that event, I had a handful of videos (under 25) and posted sporadically, but during the event I got dozens more up and now I have over a hundred videos and a regular schedule for posting new ones that has persisted since the start of November.
Content-wise, still pretty random, and I haven't managed to establish any real series per se. But it's been fun, and I've got tons of stuff recorded that I just have to get made into useful videos. Also managed to record hours upon hours of Minecraft... with over 2/3 of it coming up blackscreen with only audio (we're still troubleshooting OBS).
Anyway, I just checked my channel stats, and the Water video has 26 views. I just checked through the rest of my videos and fewer than twenty vid have managed over a dozen views. At least a few of those are my nephew being horribly amused by his reactions to playing certain games, so he just watches them incessantly and laughs his head off. The most-watched video is my Markiplier Costume vid, which I've used as a kind of discussion board first for Tiny Box Tim Day (trying to hide it as a surprise present for Markiplier) and then for other things, so it's not surprising it has 300 views even though it's not a video really worth watching.
The next is... the video of my niece reacting to Vechs's "Die in a Fire" sign on his Super Hostile: Legendary map, and I can only attribute the nearly 150 views to the fact that I posted it on Twitter for Vechs to see (he liked it and gave an evil laugh), so either he's been watching it a lot or people who saw it on his Twitter feed have been watching it a lot. And below that is my Tiny Box Tim Day video, which has 122 views, and I'm very glad it's up so high. Maybe next year's event will be a lot bigger than this year's

I have a website now! Currently just points at my fanfics (over 230 works, totaling over 750,000 words, mostly in Marvel and Person of Interest and now Lackadaisy too). YouTube channel on hiatus but I hope to eventually recreate "A Fugitive in Stardew Valley" now that I know how to mod the game.

I made a fortune in toothpicks, but I lost it all in a fire.

The struggle to supply potable water to less fortunate communities around the world is a good cause. Of course, it reminds me of a more cynical song about the subject.

But besides me sharing music, I'm glad that you're making progress in the would of YouTube and doing your part to make an impact on the people around you. Real "bigger picture" thinking.
