The Peace Orchestral Library Set is a full, best-for-free, orchestral library that will sound of proffesional quality. You can visit my website for it at "http://projects.lateralshift.net/1234567890/" for some more information and some
instruments that are released so far.
Basic Features:
Professional quality sound in a Free sf2 and gig file format
Strings, Brass, and Woodwind instruments including
Violins, Violas, Cellos, Double Bass', Trumpets, Trombones,
Tubas, French Horns, Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets Bassoons and more
Seperate sf2 and gig instrument files to save space
Relooped samples to make each instrument equal 1 poly per tone
TPOLS
Extra Features/Details:
The Peace Orchestral Library Set will include rare to find instruments like sousaphones, and wah growls. All of the samples (wavs) will be relooped once mixed into one stereo sample for a total of 1 polyphony for each note hit for all instruments! This will allow a user to use alot of instruments with very little memory, or if your using a limited polyphony program it will help alot with choppyness that you would hear with other soundfonts. Of all of this TPOLS might include even more rare sounds for free libraries: special tougues and articulations for brass and woodwind instruments. There will be two versions to TPOLS, a version sampled at 24 bit/96 khz sound (VERY high quality), and a version sampled at 16 bit/44 khz sound. The final release of TPOLS looks like it'll be around early September, if delayed will come out around October but sf2 files of Single instruments will be released very soon in the files section. The final version will not come in one sf2/gig file but will come in seperate ones to save memory for unwanted instruments.
