It's a little thing called revenge...
I was at a concert, moshing. It was a "clean" local concert, where the moshing consisted of ramming and pushing others, no fists. Well, this one kid who had been talking **** to me outside before the concert. He tripped me and started ramming my side with his leg, so I got up, and pushed the ****er down. He got up, and punched me in the stomache, and before you know it, we were beating the **** out of each other. We were broken up before either of us "won", but before it was over, I know he had got me a few good times.
I walked home, bruised and bloody, as rage and anger brewed within me. It was on the way home I got a quite vengeful idea.
One of my friends lived a few houses away from this kid. (He had told me this before the concert when the kid was talking ****.) So, one day after school, about a week after our fight, I rode the bus home with my friend, and asked him which house was this kid's. When I saw his yard, I saw exactly what I assumed I would: Right beside a doghouse, chained up, a dog.
One of our activities that I asked for, was to play baseball. He got his aluminum bat, the gloves, and the ball, and we played for about an hour or two. I layed the bat up against the house, while inquiring if he wanted to go in and get something to drink. He did, and again, my assumptions came true. He forgot all about the bat.
I had stayed the night at my friend's house before, in which
cases I slept on the floor of the living room. Again, this was what I expected, and again, it proved true. While I was getting ready, I was able to undo all the lockings they had made on their door for the night, protected by the noise of preperations. We said our proverbial "good-nights" and went off to bed.
I waited untill around 12:30, a time in which it would be safe to assume they were all fast asleep. I very quietly slipped my shoes on, and slowly opened the doors. I made sure to leave them open. Once outside, I picked up the bat, and excitement pulsed through me. I cant believe I was actually about to do this. I started towards the kid's house, and the dog started barking it's head off when I was about halfway into it's yard, not very far from it. I couldnt let it continue, or I might get caugt. The excitement overwhelmed me. One swing sideways took it down. Once down, another over the head finished the job. I ran as fast as I could, propelled by fear and excitement, back to my friends house. I put the bat back in the same position it was, entered the house, locked the doors, and slipped back into my arrangements.
The next day, there was nothing. It continued on like a normal day. I was taken back home around 12. I was never question, nor did I hear anything about it at school. Makes me wonder if he really cared about the dog....
