BOSS PROJECT IV: Asylum of Voices
Is the 4th installment of the Boss Project series of games, you control "Bliar," a recently slain man who has been condemned to the "Asylum of Voices" due to playing a part in the murder of a young boy one dark and stormy night.
However, not everything is as it seems in this dark and twisted tale. You'll have to take control of Blair and navigate the Asylum in search of the absolute truth behind one of Yenton's bloodiest and grotesque deaths, all the while shedding light on a much more sinister force.
Unlike the previous games in the "Boss Project" series, Boss Project IV will feature a simple-yet-complex storyline revolving around the mystery of a young boys murder and his thought-to-be murderer, all in an effort to spice up the experience and give the player something to think about during their relatively short adventure.
Also, instead of beginning at the highest possible level imagineable and already having learned near all possible skills for each and every character, you now must face each boss (along with optional, much harder bosses) in order to obtain EXP and Gold to buy new equipment, as well as spells and abilities.
The allocation of certain types of equipment and the learning of various spells are key in order to make it to the end of the Asylum.
Ah yes. And...
CRYSTALS=
Bosses you'll HAVE to fight.
SHIMMERING LIGHT=
Optional bosses.
Every time you use "Defend," you regain 20 MP for that specific character.

Played it some and first off holy crap do you think the monsters are strong enough you give us level 50 characters that easily get defeated by everything u fight.
Second its just I don't hate it I don't love it there something about it that makes me want to keep playing despite how much stronger the bosses are but while while playing it is just like whats the point?
There really isn't one.

Point? I don't think there ever really was a point to the Boss Project series. You just fought bosses and that was that.
I essentially made the game for my own personal enjoyment, and then released it out in to various other communities dealing with RPG Maker related stuff.
Also, unlike a lot of games, the bosses will require some thought to be defeated. They're all pretty hard, but that's the point. Making the bosses too easy would pretty much up and spoil the game, as the game its self is only about fighting bosses! And without that there really isn't much else.
A majority of the status effects you buy CAN and WILL work on near all of the bosses. Toxic, Blind, Stun, Confuse, Berserk, etc. Death even works on a few bosses (though has a lw chance of actually hitting them).
You see, I've noticed that a lot of RPG maker bosses are just...well... they have a lot of HP, and then hit you for big damage. You heal, hit them with best spell available, and then you eventually win. They're not weak to status effects, and more often than not don't really require much strategy. I tried my very best to make the bosses in this game something different--something that would require at least a bit of strategy to defeat. Wether that be in equipment management, or even the spells you buy and use. There are many ways to beat the game, you just have to find the one that works best for you!

I did alot against the bosses and still died multiple times on the first boss until I finally defeated it but anyways when I say point its like you try to set up a story and point to the game but there no real reaosn to reach the end game when there is nothing there. Don't get me wrong something about the game keeps me intrigued enough to keep playing its just like while playing there is a bit of a empty filling as to I keep but playing but why am I?
Despite being tough I do enjoy the boss battles if I can have fighting like with new games as least something that makes me think will do.
