Well, didn't give us that much to go on, but what you did show us looks pretty cool. I'm interested in hearing more about your stealth system and the Overlay Charge System, whatever that is.

I have a sheerly annoying tendancy to avoid the spoilerage where I can, I guess it's more of a personal thing in all honesty; I really enjoyed developing games people can jump in and discover for themselves, but I may make an exception this time since it's concerning game mechanics here.
OCS or Overlay Charge System: The name overlay generally derives from 'to spread over' and that, in basic is how it functions.
Now and again the party will come across oppotunties to recieve OCS skills which can be activated on both the map and in battle, but the functions differentiate depending on where you are. For example, using the skill
'Flaretorch
' can damage enemies in battle (With the addition of a defense debuff) it can function as a tool to light campfires on the map. Using these skills eat points that are no related to SP, so you don't need to worry about running out of mp for curative skills. However, this special meter 'OCS charge' will decrease and eat the OCP (Overlay Charge Points), and it is rather difficult to push back up compared to SP since it can't be recovered by resting.
Besides special 'draw points' on the map that can regain some of the lost OCP (There is a cooldown time before you can reuse the same point again to prevent abuse), you can also use items.
Concerning the stealth system, I'm using an unscripted method, rathermore evented. Each monster on the map is defined with an aggro range and can only target you on sight. (Monsters like bats* will generally have a bigger aggro range, whereas golems will have a shorter range) With this instance in mind, you can avoid them quite easily, if you use common sense. I'm planning to expand the system furthermore and have the global aggro range decreased if you choose to move more slowly and have a set up so they stop chasing you after a duration of time (something rather easy to do). Of course, diversity needs to be put to mind and some monsters will give chase longer than others.
*They're not called bats in the game, but I'll use that definition to make it a bit easier to understand what I'm referring to.
