I made a fortune in toothpicks, but I lost it all in a fire.
Death's Got It In For My Bloodline

My uncle died last night. I don't know the specifics, but I do know that he had emergency surgery. I guess it didn't go well. He was only 49, so this news is kind of shocking. I didn't know him that well, so I'm not exactly all broken up about the news. However, I knew him enough to send me into a state of disbelief when I heard the news. My dad had minor surgery early today, so he didn't bother to visit my uncle before his surgery yesterday. He figured that whatever the surgery was for wasn't life-threatening, so he just went about his business. Given that reaction, he seems to be taking the situation pretty well. Then again, he's on pain killers right now, so who knows how he'll be this time next week.
So anyways, I'm getting sick of all the funerals I've been attending over the last five years. It's sickening, and can't be that great for my psychological health.

Eh, this doesn't sound like anything ANYONE would want to go through. Last funeral I went to was earlier this year, for my grandma on my step-moms side.
Then again, she was well over 60. I don't think your psychie would be damages, just your sub-conscie.

We all die eventually. Accepting that and living above it will make your life much more enjoyable for you. Living in constant fear of the unknown, death, injury, etc. only detracts from the experiences you could be having, or are having. Start checking off your bucket list while you can, dude. Carpe that diem!
