I know I was told before on another thread, but I definitely can't find it lol. Which free vid capturing program is the best in order to make a trailer

Thanks for the quick response Lucas.
I'm not gonna use the background sound so it's no big deal.
I figure I should make my game trailer since people haven't tried the demo yet haha

Try not to take offense to this, because none is meant and what I'm about to say isn't about the quality of your game... People generally don't bother with games that use the RTP unless they know for a fact that the game brings something new to the table in terms of gameplay.
Also, if you haven't already, try posting your demo on multiple websites. That is probably what I will be doing once I have more stuff finished.

I get what you're saying. I'm making it just for the hell of it and plus it's fun.
It doesn't honestly bother me if people don't play it, but hey... Maybe somebody will. A lot of the new RPGs these days I don't like, mostly because I like that simple classic feel. But that's just me.

Yeah, new rpgs are kind of... yeah. Just don't get that immersion like you do with the classics.

I have a DS and I've played that Heracules game and the battle system was interesting, but the other parts were very dull and boring. There were a few others that I cannot remember.
Xenoblade Chronicles however (which I have not finished) is great though. It makes me feel like I'm exploring woods or something or hiking etc.

Eternal Sonja however although plays like older RPGs has some fresh ideas that some of the older ones did not. Like with Final Fantasy games, there wasn't a lot to do other than mostly run around.
But with this game I tried to make places more active by... an example... Purging water levels as seen in the trailer and moving objects to help you proceed or freeze statues in order to make parts of lava to harden to create a path for a short amount of time while having that extra pressure of another time limit due to the heat within the volcano. I also try to add humor and comic relief along with a more serious tone and sometimes horrific.
I plan to have a tower that focus on controlling wind and an area where you create a path using memories of people who have died in order to reach a distant place. All of this stuff along with its simple/classic feel. Not to mention the game isn't easy
