The main reason I would pick a PC is that most games are tuned better towards PC, sure you can use that thingy to emulate PC on your mac for the sake of games but y'know.Now, if I was in the music industry or any other industry really that focused on me doing a lot of fancy things with a computer, I'd get a Mac no doubt about it.
It sounds like you just don't like Game Maker Studio (GMS?).I am a Javascript developer by profession.Javascript is wholly independent of operating system. IDE's like Visual Studio Code or Atom are essentially the same on any operating system, and Javascript is primarily served in web browser, which is also operating system indifferent. There is literally no difference in standard Javascript writing or compilation between Windows, OSX, or any flavor of Linux. It's not emulated. You can literally partition the drive and install Windows. Drivers are provided during the installation process too.
