Ok well first of all the title theres a space covered by the new game, load and quit thing... that isn't a major problem.... but when you start the game the begining is way to fast and it's hard to get the picture of whats going on... all of a sudden im just finding out that he is talking to this goddest then he is all of a sudden following this girl and next talking to the sky... there wasn't really a pause or even a thing to tell a little of whats going on..... then all of a sudden im in a factory and next thing i know im waking up going to a class and then get out and fight an elf i don't even know.....
then i got to a book shop im guessing but the thing is you have a problem if you walk into the line of books you can't get out so i stoped right there... all this took place in 5 minutes and i still got no clue what is happening but i have been on like 10 maps already...... I sugest you slow down a tad and try not to rush this you may want to start the begining over and have it a little more conversational so people can understand whats going on i couldn't tell if these were flashbacks or if i was just getting thrown around.. but try to make things a little more interesting and take your time.... Great games are not made within a month.. some times they take years..(unless you havee all the free time in the world)
so as far as i have gotten wich i took a screen shot i rate this game a 4/10.. im sure you can bring this game to be a 9/10 if you take more time and plan out the things and slow down sceens.

I fixed the bookshelves yesterday, and after reading that I now know that I need to explain that Trikitiger's dreaming, and why need does what he does a little later to have a better plot start, but because the first maps were before I got better at RM2000 it really sucks. I'll make the beginning stronger and come out with a better demo. Did you get to the Mew Monster boss? Because I wanna know if it's too hard to defeat. I thought it was a bit too hard but everytime I fight it I defeat it, same thing with Evil Trikitiger

I played through most of it, I just didn't have time to go through the rest.
Anyway its OK for dreams to go fast like that, but then you gotta make it very clear that it is a dream. One way to do this is to put it in black and white or blur the corners of the screen.
Another thing I didn't like too much is the graphics. I just don't think to highly of the defult rpt graphics/music, and there are other people who don't as well. One of the major reasons for this is because most people use the rpt graphics on their first game, and usually their first game isn't too good. So now everytime I see someone using rpt graphics I think its another bad game. I realize that a lot of the graphics weren't the defults, but I didn't like how a lot of the maps were put together.
But i did like the story a lot, it is something you don't see in every game, so that was really nice.
At the moment I give the game a 3/10, which isn't too good. However if you take your time and work through the game a little more, that score will get a lot higher.

Hell Yeah! Just recovered all my old rm2k/3 games from my 10 year old, broken laptop hard drive that had been formatted and had a new OS installed on it. Oh, and I did all of this from my phone. WIN

I'm working on it as everyone on Charas Speaks, the only thing I can't help is that because I didn't have alot of resources near the beginning of the game, right now I have a city that I mixed with the dungeon and town chipsets.
I know that the chipsets, charsets, monsters and other RTP stuff are depressing, but I do have better stuff coming up in the later cities, the story is the only thing keeping the score up, and now, Dragon, if you saw some of my beginning improvements your scoring would be either a 4/10 now, but if anyone in the betas have any suggestions or resources that might be of some use email them please, because I have alot to do at these moments.
Reain, if you want me to fix up anything let me know too, because I'll be glad to hear your thoughts.
To all betas: I still haven't heard much of the bosses, and I still need to know, all betas if you have past or trying to pass any of the bosses, let me know, and btw, if you do get to the end of the demo and find out something's wrong (which I won't explain), there is a way to fix that "problem" when you see it. I'll just tell you this, if you do finish the second boss (not badges), look at the character menu, or status stuff or whatever, if one character lost levels, you know you did something wrong ^_~ but I'm not telling what MWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHHH!!!
Anyways, betas, please tell me any suggestions or resources that might be useful via email, and I will look at them and consider them.
May the good Trikitiger triumph over the evil one! (I just had to say that)
