And if you mean the "Then why are you using...." part, that is basically me telling people who whine about how windows is so bad because either A. They think it makes them look smarter or cooler, or B.They're too stupid to set up any Linux distro, and don't want to buy a Mac that they suck.

I've looked up some more and the thing is, the PS3 will be 2x more powerfull as the XBOX 360 and 15X or 30X more powerfull than the N. Rev.
I think that that, the system's specification and the big titles on release will give the PS3 a big leap forward. However, the N. Rev is only going to be 4 inches wide, 2 inches tall, and .7 inches deep, so it can be brought to everywhere.

I mainly want a PS3 for MGS4 and DMC4, and I'll possibly buy a rev. some time. I just dont like the Xbox. I've only seen a few titles that actually interest me for Xbox when compaired to Playstation. And besides, does the richest man in the world really need more money?

ya no...i hate to bring this up but...
...what made u ppl hate xbox so much? if its the size then ur lame cos its big cos it has loads of features and stuff (such as an intergrated network card and a hdd). and dont say its the controller cos they have made ones that are smaller. Plus it had the most power in the system...or is it the games tha u didnt like?

Well unfortunately they have made it quite apparent that these are not the first signs of a ff7 remake for the PS3 (Although we all wanted it to be), so I dont think it will happen...

But there's always the possibility of it surfacing in the future...

 

Just because they didn't give a hint doesn't mean they won't do it. Wouldn't that be a shocker, to release info of a FFVII remake a month before the release of the PS3?

 

Exactly!! See? No need to worry guys. Just because THIS isn't a teaser for a new release of FFVII doesn't mean they won't ever remake it. They're going to have to eventually. I mean, the fans are demanding a remake. There are millions of people across the world who would love to see this game live up to its full potential and have some real graphics. I have faith in Squaresoft that one day we will see this game again in a new light.

 

the fact that they showed a tech demo using Final Fantasy VII leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. why not use Final fantasy VI? or final Fantasy VIII? The fact that they specifically chose VII to show off with is just weird. Why bother at all if they weren't working on something?

Sony will most likely pressure Square-Enix into making the FFVII remake though, seeing as Halo 3 comes out on the same day as the PS3, Sony is going to need something besides GTA6 to help move PS3's off of shelves. If FFVII is remade for PS3, Halo won't stand a chance

you only live in one world right? The PS3 is the same zize as the PS2 just a bit more round like shape. the controller is the same just wireless (wow wireless no other console has it). about power the most advance techthe Cell Processor and the Blu-Ray are one step ahead of the 360 and Revo the other two consoles will depend now from theyr games and as I think of games the one wit the big titles is the PS3 the other will be revolution wit Zelda I'll bet that will be one of theyr frist games.


edit: and did any one notice the big SLAP square gives to the 360 FF11 for the 360 ( one the game that ruend FF series tha game should been FF Online) and FF13 exclusive for the PS3 now thats a low blow.

I dearly hope the wireless comment was sarcasm, as all three of the consoles have wireless controllers by default.

But an Xbox running on Mac hardware?! I must research this...

...and have found that Xbox is not going to use mac hardware. Every article I found states that they're using G5s because they are similar to the Xbox in their hardware setup, specifically the three 3.2 GHz processors. So yes, they will be similar, but not Mac hardware.

And as for why I'm afraid of Mac in the first place, it's because Mac products pretty much only work with Mac products. It limits itself to nothing but the company's own crap, which, although they work pretty well together, are nothing compared to the open-endedness of PCs.

Hell, my own computer runs an ATI videocard (3200+ 128MB Radeon), it's not a Mac-exclusive feature or anything.

Which brings me to my final point. If the Xbox is so obsolete compared to the PS3, why hasn't it stomped it out yet?

And remakes are nothing but a company's attempts to gobble up more money from strange, confused children who believe that, if a game has better graphics and a few extra features, it's worth the $50 they're wasting for recycled code. (Exception: Mario 64 DS. It gives me something to do in school.   )
