I need day and night on my game

I only need day and night on my game. I don't care the hour, day or month. I only want to know how can I add day and night of 7 minutes each one. Can anyone tell me how should the event(or common event) should look when finished?
I also need to know how could, lets say, a person appear during the night and dissapear during the day. Please tell me how the event should look too.
Also, I would also like that someone tell me how to darken the screen when it is night, so it does not look like the day during night.
Another thing, I want to know if it is posible to make it that you can only go to an inn on the night and when you get out it is day.
Finally, I would like that time does not change when you are inside a house or building, and it return to how it was when you get out. (Let's say, you enter on a house on the night, and you get out and it is still night)
Thanks

I developed a day/night system once, it worked great, but they hard to intertwine with the story. Sometimes they get in the way.
But anyway, to make a day/night system, create a common event, call it day/night. It's very simple, make it a parralel process event. Get two switches ready, one for Day, one for Night.
In the common event, Set Timer 1 for 5 minutes, or how ever long you want your days and nights to be. Then start your timer. After those two events, make a loop event. Inside the loop create a conditional branch which is set off by the timer reaching zero. Inside this conidtional branch are TWO MORE conditional branches. The first is set off by Switch "Day" being ON, and the second by switch "Night" being ON. Inside each one are the settings for day and night. Inside Day is as follows:
:Conditional Branch, Day ON:
Switch: Day, OFF
Switch Night, ON
Tint Screen: Red 70, Green 70, Blue 100, Saturate 70
Break Loop
:Conditional Branch, Night ON:
Switch: Night, OFF
Switch Day, ON
Tint Screen: Red 100, Green 100, Blue 100, Saturate 100
Break Loop
It seems a little backwards, but when you think about it, if this event does all it's suppose and day is ON after 5 minutes, then night is coming up next. If you're confused jsut tell me, I tested this and it works perfect.
As for everything with a guy appearing only at night, and sleeping only at the INN at night. That's controlled by the Switches DAY and NIGHT. Each event that is affected by Day or Night will have two pages, one for the effect of DAY, and one for the effect of NIGHT.
You could do this with Lamps, lights, people, anything really!
BTW: If you want this all to work, you're gonna have to switch either DAY ON or NIGHT ON somewhere in your intro.

Sorry, didn't helped. Could you please write how it should look? I don't understand english well and what I got was the following things(I tried many times in different ways):
1.- Day and night changes each 3 seconds instead of each 7 minutes
2.- Lag the game and does not change day or night.
3.-Does not change in any way. I put it to change after 10 seconds and show timer and when timer got to 0, nothing happened and timer stopped. Never appeared again.
Another thing. If it works, is there a way to stay on a house and, when you get out, it is still day or night, even if you spend 10 minutes inside? And how can I make it so inside it isn't dark at night and then I get out and it is still night and dark?

well, for that last part you'd need a lot of scripting, or maybe not. but either way, it'd be complicated and I no longer have access to my computer for like 2 weeks. so I can't show you how it looks. sorry.
Maybe if someone would be generous enough to make the system I explained and take a screen shot of the way it looks for .
...hint hint...
Sorry, there's not much more I can do for you.
