Wardge Tail - Demo

[Muramasa]

Hello there, I am Muramasa. I have been working hard to bring one of my latest ideas to life in RPGMaker 2003. I have called it Wardge Tail! It's a light-hearted story based off of one of my comics. Here we go!...

Story:

The story revolves around an outlaw named Lee. He has a monkey named Matrix and one day, when wandering about a town, they are attacked by some townspeople. They are saved by a mysterious man and his "space-crew." From there, they invite him to join. At first, Lee refuses, but he learns of a 4th passenger whose discovery convinces him to change his mind. And their adventures begin! That's all the demo contains, as this is just a "rough draft" of sorts.

Characters:

Name: Lee
Age: 17
Affiliation: Outlaw
Background: Has been an outlaw for a few years, and as such, has a loner mentality. This, however, doesn't apply to his best buddy, Matrix.

Name: Matrix
Age: 3
Affiliation: Monkey
Background: Lee's monkey pal. He acts weird, but has stuck with Lee for a while. Yeah... not much to say here.

Name: Van
Age: 18
Affiliation: Outlaw
Background: A mysterious outlaw who rescues Lee from an angry mob. "Captain" of his crew. Was the one who established his little group.

Name: Fritz
Age: 15
Affiliation: Outlaw
Background: He has been handicapped since birth, and was born without a mouth. As such, he uses a machine to talk for him. (Think Stephen Hawking.) Also, he seems to have an "outgoing" personality to make up for his lack of physical prowess.

Name: Shrix
Age: ?
Affiliation: Outlaw
Background: Not much is known about him, but he recently joined Van's crew. He speaks, but no one can understand him. Because of that, he doesn't interact much with the other members. Oh yeah, he's addicted Trix, too.

Name: Raine
Age: 17
Affiliation: Mysterious Girl in Pod
Background: She is a mysterious girl who was in a pod onboard Van's ship. She was released by Lee by accident when he was looking for Matrix. Her past is also shrouded, but something happened involving pain in the past of the crew and herself.

Well, I'm dling right now. I'll give you my opinion later.

EDIT: Well that was thrilling.

PRO'S:
Made me laugh a bit.

Decent story
Good charset movement use

CON'S:
No gameplay... yet
Maps could be just a BIT better
A bit of RTP
Some Dialogue pauses are too long for my tastes.

So, as of right now, Wardge tail gets a 4/10 as a whole game, and a 3/5 as a demo.
