I'm using Module Editor on KotOR Tool to make two new areas, but I have no way to link them to each other. Could someone who knows how to use KotOR Tool (by Fred Tetra) tell me how to place a teleport-thing-a-ma-bob-door?
Thanks if you help,
Koops

Is it anything like RPG Maker? In RPG Maker, you have a third layer where you can place events. What you do is place an event where you want the character to be teleported from, and have that event teleport the character to the second map.

I think it's under "Waypoints"

"Waypoints" is movement. Like, in Rm2k, "Move Event" would actually be like creating a "waypoint".
Why am I using "quotes"?

I see. Well, I've played a game like that before. It was called "Heros" and it was where you made your own maps, story, battles, and etc. That had no way of teleporting from one map to the other, as the entire senario (sp?) was based on one map.
If your maker is anything like that, you're probally SOL. If not, I would suggest searching "KotOr Tool" Tutorial in google.

It's okay for trying. I do wish to say something to you though:
In Star Wars: KNights of the Old Republic,
the MOD (yes, that's right: MOD) creator does not come with it (it is a seperate part), and I'm pretty sure that the destroyed Jedi Enclave is not on the same planet as the destroyed Sith ruins.
So:
A. Not same map
B. I need help
and C:
I'll take your advice and search a tutorial.
Thanks for helping.

Well, if it's all in one map, I would suggest you put in a cutscene or some other animation to show that you go from one planet to another, and use a 'waypoint' or something like that to move your character there. Not sure how you would do that, as I'm unfamiliar with the program you say you use, but it's a thought if you have no other alternatives.
