I loved this game!! One of my favorite things was how you used your graphics and the intro. I would love to play a full version of the game!!

GRAPHICS: 9, the graphics were good, but I didn't personally like how you left the things made by the generator seem as such. a few things that are worth correcting IMO are john's two pixel by two pixel eyebrows (I know its probably not how its meant, but it comes off like that), or the wierd jittering as the little guy on the world map. I personally suggest using a completely hand made sprite for the world map, as I used in one of my games. it comes off as looking alittle less fuzzy. otherwise, graphics were good.
SOUND: 10, I completely agree with trevlac. the sound was perfect. I love the confirm and all that sound effects, and the musics from what I could understand weren't MIDI
GAMEPLAY: 7, gameplay was good, if not alittle buggy. the movement speed was a constant variable from time to time which was a big annoyance for me because I like being set to normal speed with my main character, but that's just me.
STORY: 7, the whole, evil cult looking for one person was alittle bleh, but it was executed very well I must say. I didn't really like the whole omegans plot thing, but the ancient fallen race story line has some potential if you pull it off right. character development was very good, especially with omega's personality and background.
MECHANICS: 5, I LOVE YOU FOR LEAVING IN THE WAIT OPTION. I personally dislike being unable to select a turn based system, because with RPGs I need time to think. the limit break thing is a very good idea, however it glitched on occasion. I didn't understand what the.....whatever it was called, it started with an E on the character menu in battle. However, I did take off huge points in this because of the lack of minigames. MINIGAMES. they're fun and a good side to the main portion of the game. I know its just a demo, but still, minigames just make the game more interesting.
EXECUTION: 8, I love how you used the song and the real voice in the beginning, although the game comes off as alittle creepy during the scene where the town is destroyed. the plot is old and its a bad one to use. if used at all it should be for a side main characters, (such as sango from InuYasha.) I personally like some comedy in games, so that its not all so dark and serious. the occasional joke just keeps the game interesting because it shows that a game isn't all just the ordinary thing, every day game that was given no chance at all in any field other than the main thing
OVERALL:
according to above:
7.6
according to my personal thoughts:
8.0
its no proffessional game, but its very close to it. I personally had more fun playing this than I had playing quite a few games that I liked quite a bit. the game has potential, but you gotta add those nice little extras to, as to spice up the game alittle. love me for it or hate me for it, theres my review.

You'd think the name 'John" wouldn't be so apealing. But... damn. Great game.
