I like the bodies better, but the faces dont sit right with me. I think you may need to  try to alter the heads to look a bit more like the previous versions. If the Eyes were elongated downward by on vertical pixel, and the mouths were shifted lower on the heads, i think it would look nicer. Aside from that Im diggin it though

They look good but as a personal opinion, they all have a leaning back "you lookin at me" kind of pose. Wemon aren't really bulky but fragile. And templates are nice BUT not every person looks alike. The girl has muscles as big as the men. Just a personal opinion though.

Dont worry! these are just base poses.... i havent done any poses for them yet i just wanted to see if anyone liked the style.... im gunna fix all that :-P

I made a spriting tutorial in the tuts section and Gemini Gallery is where he has a bunch of templates hes done.... why not just try some? i wasnt always good either man

I might give it a try on my next game. I've already souped up some old battlechars I found and I think they fit in nicely with my game. But to fix the nose problem I would just add a dot at the end to extend them.

Ahhh i COULD do that one dot thing but they arent completely sideways so i cant really do that... it looks wierd

Comparing the faces to the sprites you got there, I'd say to just get rid of the nose line and make the eyes bigger. That way, the face pic's will match the sprites more stylistically.

Even enlarging the eyes may make the nose look more nose ish.

Ok Faces Edited so they have noses bigger eyes and mouths and Heights edited..... My girl i tried to make a lil bit more girly in that pose
