So with things getting Busier and a lack of motivation, i have slowed progress on the RPG to a temporary Crawl. Until i get a bit more free time i can only work on here and there.
Although since progress is slowing, ive decided to release what is currently made, since there is some solid content so far.
Although i have a VERY newb question.
How/What do i need to include for people to be able to play my "Demo."
Should i just cram all the RTP folder into a .zip?
I appreciate anyones help with this matter.

I think the only time you need the RTP is if you are trying to play it while not having RPG Maker to begin with. I, personally, wouldn't like the RTP in there, cause that just makes the size bigger, and causes the download process to be alot longer.

Hey all. Although this Project has been atm indefinately put on Hold. Due to this decision im gonna host the most current version since there is quite a bit made and its a shame to waste it.
Ive decided to move to newer better projects.
At this time ive started work on a graphic novel with a friend.
in my spare time ive been working on a new RPG2k3 Project. I will release details fairly soon. But the Quality Improvement since my last game is dramatic.
Ill have screen shots when my custom stuff is more finished.
Till then, can you tell me what i need to put in a .zip so i can host An Epic Legend. ATM im just assuming the RTP folder and the Project Folder, but please confirm this with me, so i can post it fast.
Thanks for your support and ill have more to feast on soon.
EDIT: Muraiko, how would u get my custom sprites etc, without the RTP folder.

Not sure what you mean by RTP folder. Just make sure that all graphics you use are in your game's main folders, like charset and chipset. If you used only one type of RTP, like a certain RTP chipset, then make sure you include that file in your game's folder.
Of course, if you used alot of RTP, and are having a difficult time sorting through which ones you used or didn't use, then by all means, forget what I said, and just include the RTP. Use the "Create a game disk" folder to just check mark the box that asks if you want to include the Run Time Package.

Thanks Muraiko. Unfortunatly i use way to many resources and i really am not tracking them down so im adding my entire RTP. Zipped ur looking at 65ish Megs, unzipped i think its around 100 megs. Although i have a ton of resources of all kinds, so if you need more monsters etc then this is a BONUS for you
. If not, delete the sucker w hen ur done with it.
A Few Things to consider before playing:
1 - This is my first major Game. The Quality is rather poor in the first 2 areas, but the quality grealty increases as you get further.
2 - Levels are key. If something is beating your face in, come back in a level or 2 or when u get some better gear. Everything is beatable.
3 - When the game starts, getting to tymus fast helps alot early game. He gives 10k XP and stat books for getting to him, and that helps alot. Hes located in The Hillside town, thru the bushes. go north near the buildings then to the right thru the bushes.
Here is a Copy of the World Map, pretty much all the locations of events are marked on the map. Good luck and enjoy!
