Halo Comix

Ok i havent posted anything for awhile, I was playing Halo and my friend said he found some halo sprites. I found them and I decided they were perfect to make a comic with. I made one so far. I'm gonna try to make it more funny than serious and actiony. It'll have all of it combined but more comedy. Please post a comment and tell me what you like or what you dont like and what I can improve. My first comic is going to be suckish. I made it in Microsoft Paint and they were sucky sprites. Luckily i found some better ones so....

I know its a little big. My posts will only be like this when I attach a comic. Also dont expect it to be good for my first one. I mean c'mon its made in Microsoft Paint. I'm not saying its completely bad but its not all that good. I could probably make ones better if I had a better program. Anyone know some good programs? If so please post them.

I've seen people make awesome comics in Paint, so don't make the a reason why you think it sucks. And you got a few spelling errors, but otherwise you have yoruself a good comic.

Thanks for being supportive. Glad you think it looks good. I've heard programs that make really good comics and stuff. Also I usually use drawplus so Paint is sorta new to me. I
ve used it before but didnt really get the hang of it. My computer crashed awhile ago so I had to get a new one and I havent really felt like download drawplus again.

Well I cant move it into the Creative Forum unless a Mod does it.. Anyways my next halo comic is done. Oh and by the way Shino, glad you like it.

EDIT: Ok this one's a bit...I dont know what it is, couldnt really think of anything cuz i stayed up all night last night and havent tooken a nap so I'm out of it. I noticed I didnt do a good job of timing in the bullet sprite with the talk bubble.
If misunderstood he says I'll show them then he gets shot then he screams like a girl. Just in case anyone didnt understand.

Want me to include anything in my comix? Got ideas for them or want to be in one? Tell me. If you want to be in the comic you have to make a sprite of yourself. Not usre what I'm going to do in my next comic so I'm taking your guys's ideas.

I'll be honest: It lacks anything funny about it. It's also riddled with grammar problems severe enough to make it hard to understand at parts. I'm not saying you should stop, but I'm suggesting that you evaluate what it is that makes something funny. Because you're missing it.

Well like i said before, I am kinda out of it. I stayed up the past 1-2 nights partying like hell. I cant take a nap i've tried I just cant fall asleep. The one thing i did imporve was the graphics. Its not all blurry like number 1 is so...Yea i'm not the comedian type so I need some ideas. Please post them here.

Well, in my opinion, it's better to be more original with your ideas for comics instead of binding yourself to working around the predetermined roles for the characters. In other words, comics about a single game, movie, or TV show either aren't funny, or lose their funny fast.

I'm working on my 3rd comic. Its not gonna be funny I changed my mind about that. I;m going to have more action and better timing and I'll have the sprites aligned perfectly. This is going to have 10-20 panels somewhere along there anyways. If its too long i'll put it in a zip file and post the download link or something. Anyways I guess I was just really experimenting with Paint for the first 2. I was trying to get used to it. I might change back to drawplus 4 seeing that I re-downloaded it as you can see I made the animated Master Cheif for my avatar. And look at my sigs. I have links embedded on the pictures. I'll take out the sprite sheet link. Anyways Another thing i am trying to say is I love halo. (I like change what I like every month. I did have those final fantasy guys going for awhile. And those annoying (I used to like them) spinny things and monkeys and all that crap) I'll try one more comic in MS Paint if I and some other people dont think it looks good. I'm going back to drawplus.
