Topic pointer: this thread is now about sig fads.

We've had a bunch of sig fads. All of them have petered out once more than half the active members got hold of them.

I remember Respect Lists being the most popular. All they did was cause fights, and then people put people on each other's lists just to appease them, and then they lost all meaning. It was awesome.

I've had this respect list in my sig for years and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon.

Heh, when I put that in my sig (except edited by Alex's Evil Twin Brother) a few people made threads asking who the hell he was. That was funny.
