Some of the perspective seem a little off.
Exactly my thoughts. Of course, it's that way in most RPGs, having an overhead view magically combined with a side view, having no perspective in sight.
It looks better, keep it up fish I really hope play through it when its finished. Oh and I still have your ABS demo you put up a while back if it had any resources your missing.

Mucho better. What I meant by boobs is that the map needs more irregularity and more of a third dimension. One bit of advice for you: NEVER USE RECTANGLES. Just act like you don't have a rectangle tool, and you'll know how much time you need to spend on a realistic map. Two bleh points are that that save point or whatever it is and that ship don't match the rest, and the base of the save point has a weird perspective bug at the bottom. Remember to draw things as you see them, not as you think of them. Forget that the bottom is flat, because then you'll think there should only be one edge. The waterfall should also have a splash at the bottom, and some mud next to the river. There should also be fish or some kind of wildlife if this is a real forest.
The new screenshot is a big improvement.
I think maby fogging effects (pictures with white fog, and 20-35% transparency) and lighting or whatever you want to give it that look that tell your players they really are on a different planet.
