Make a System....for a game....put it in a project...and host it.
Call it a demo. Like for an ABS...or CMS. a TEMPLATE project, as it were

Start a mini team.

Make some good templates.

Write a tutorial.

Make some facesets.

Edit some resources, and make them better.

Post links to new resource sites you find.

See, lately, charas hasnt been really active when it comes to games, resources, mini teams, and etc. The last working mini team was so long ago I dont even remember which one it was. And I dont remember the last time someone posted something in lets say, resources section. (something that is free for anyone to use and would actually help newbs). Many newbs just go, join, and leave cause we ignore them. They are noobs, you say? Well, everyone was a noob some day. When I joined charas I was quite the idiot. I remember archem yelling at me for asking chipsets. I almost left charas but then MIC answered my request. And ate my brain but thats not important.
Thing is, do you guys know how happy a newb is when someone answer his request? Lots of happy. Just try to remember your first answered request.
And all the awesome spriters out there. You werent born good. Lets think about red fox. When he joined, he requested stuffs. He wasnt a good spriter. But people answered his requests, and now he is a really active member and is a pretty awesome spriter.

So, they main idea of this topic is. How about making charas a more newb friendly place? Like, lets make the generators live! Some really good spriters here havent uploaded stuffs in ages. The thing could use some awesome sprites.

And CR. That thing is full of semi generated stuffs. Stuffs that no one uses anyway. We could do like, some huge projects to make it full of useful stuffs. The great spriters that I and everyone know that charas has could do some great sprites.

Oh and requests. Of course, no one has to do a ginormous request. But it would be really nice of us to answer some.


So yeah, I know I didnt do anything of the above so far. But I plan on doing. Lets make this forum a better place

Meh.  I'm willing to do face-sets.  They're not gonna be done very fast, but hey, I'm willing to do them.  More or less I'm willing to do whatever someone asks me as long as it's not way out of my league, you just have to ask.

Thats actually not that bad idea. A bit wordy for a simple "Lets do shizz guys" message, but nice nonetheless. I suppose I could try and brush off my old sprite skillz and open up my Face Makers team again.

It's a nice idea. We're planning on getting most of these things going in the near future, in particular a CR and generator cleanup/resource drive but there's some good ideas there.

lol i have like 100 at my new and old site but no one goes to them
i only pay out money to get my new site running and i have been working on some new resource
with help from some of you here in time i be post up some new resources
we need like a page called a round the world in a day
where you can find what you need for your games
lets say native indian's and cowboys this can be for resources from the u.s.a
the ninja's & samurai from japan
and so on the uk the qreen kings and the like's of that
then we can have like the years resources like helowen you can have black cats ghost and so on
space page you can have space ship moons Nasa Alienware Area-51
we can have teams that can make resources then when any one ask for any thing like this
we can give them a link to get the help they all need
it may not be what they are looking
for but they may find some thing that will help them in there game

i am more of a online helper to find thing's
for your games when you ask for the help
but some time the older website are gone when
i know i can find what you need most of the time
thats why i saved lots of the website
i go to and post them on my website all
i have to is look up the ones you need to go to find your resources
i know that has the resources you need
but we need to do some thing as we have a new chara's why not
new teams helpers resourcers uploader need fixing ?
i have new resourcers to post in it but it keeps say it needs fixing
we need a team to fix it may be 3 of you that know what they are doing

I always awnser request i can do,and some i can't.I think Lucas has a point we must be more
noob freindly.I'll make some awesome charasets for the CR of the generator,just give me a theme.
Oh and i agree with Lucas in a number that can only be expresed in an alternate diminsion.

Like Gem said, Moose is retooling the generators right now. As soon as he finishes I'll get on it but until then stop complaining about it.

Meh. Helping people is good and all, but vey few people that come hee to equest stuff become full, active, contibuting membes. Of couse thee ae exceptions, but this applies to the majoity.

EDIT - I think it isn't completely unfai of us to ask that people contibute something to the community befoe asking to gain things in etun, even if that means just making posts and shaing opinions in the vaious topics.
