No. Locked threads have skyrocketed since you and Drag became mods, and it's a strange thing that I don't like.

Corollary: to my knowledge, 3 threads have been locked, one of those was locked at the OP's request, and the other two I don't care about.

Let us get used to moderating. It just makes it harder for us to learn if everyone bickers about what they want the mods to do.

But how many were locked before then? In the same stretch of time? In a longer stretch of time? And what happened to threads dying? Wasn't old age a popular way to end threads? I miss that!

Anyways, slow down on locking just a little until it becomes more common. This pace is too drastic. After all, Charas isn't a place of locking threads that have stopped being useful, it's a place of locking threads once they become a nuisance.

Gemini makes a good point. Mod logs are available to admins, but I'm fairly sure SMF does not by default offer them up to the public. Whenever I can I'll see what I can do about that.
