Computer problems.

Alright, so I got a new computer, but I have one issue with it. Rather than having to double click an icon, for example, opening the C:\ drive in my computer, the icon will automatically highlight and I only need to click once. I hate that, so I was wondering if you guys knew how to change that setting ;P
Thanks in advance, move this thing where-ever it's more suited for.

Like Felix said, go to Control Panel and then Mouse. Then try:
Double-click speed.
Turn off ClickLock if it's on.
Look for anything that looks out of place.

Might be some weird setting on your mouse. Is it a fairly standard one or is it a freaking weird one with rapidfire capability and a cupholder and that ****?

With Hobo's help ('**** around in the control panel') I figured it out.
