Tech question.

Yeah, my roommate has a Comtrend CT 5621 Router that we use, and until just recently, we only used one computer on it. I  hooked my computer up to the router, and now the IP address constantly resets itself and when I try to run a IPconfig/release-IPconfig/renew, but now neither my computer or my roommate's can connect to the DHCP server. Any ideas on what to do?
