I loved Seymour. Tidus and Yuna annoyed me, but Tidus' personality became better during the course of the game.

But still, Seymour, I still prefer him above Sephiroth any day.

The only people that didn't make me want to destroy the world was Auron wakka Lu and Rikuu Tidus.......not so much but I hated listening to him cry over random things Also was there a point to FFX-2? sure you get to play as Paine but really? the only Final Fantasy games that I think deserve a sequel is FF7 which they did have at least 2 sure i like FF7 but I'm not a crazy diehard fan of it saying things like Oh Cloud should have been in Super Smash Bros Brawl and things like that. is anybody still reading this random rant?

Okay, RPGs for the DS? Have you tried 'Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer'? It's great. Think 'NetHack' (not '.hack') mixed with Zelda, and you've got it. It's really good, although the whole 'lose everything when you die, even EXP' is a little hard. Luckily, there's a 'rescue' feature--if you connect to the WiFi or put up with a password, someone else with the game can 'rescue' you and save your items. If it sounds too hard, go for Izuna; it's a little easier (you'll lose your items, but not your EXP). Also, it's hilarious.

I also recommend 'Dragon Quest IV'--it's great, simply put. If you're willing to look hard, get Sega Genesis Collection for the PS2--it has Phantasy Star II, III, and IV, all of which are great RPGs.

That is a whole lot different than "I want to destroy because I want to."

Learn to follow a plot because you nag.

To myownpath: No. Final Fantasy VII did not need sequels. The movie was entertaining but was a huge dissapointment. I can't say much of Crisis Core, but the Vincent Valentine game sure was a dissapointment too.
As for X-2, it was useless and shouldn't have been made either. Final Fantasy games should not have sequels because Square is obviously not good at making those.

To Rahl: Why? What was such a dissapointment about Final Fantasy X? Sure, the plot has been done before, but what hasn't now-a-days? The battle system is still one of my favourites used in the Final Fantasy series and the Sphere Grid was a nice change of the old leveling system. So, I want a detailed explanation why it sucks.

Which is a long winded way of saying THIS WORLD SUX SO I WILL SPLODE IT.

Seriously, the game is just full of this kind of pretentious nonsense. Potential for storyline is a graet advantage to RPGs as a genre, but here it's just a burden.
